3 YEARS LATER

Third Person POV

Three years later and they are still in their honey moon phase. One wakes up every morning in their California King bed in white sheets next to the love of their life, whilst the other snores peacefully. The book next to the right side of the bed keeps her company as she awaits her lovers alarm to go off and her eyes to flutter open. Once her messy hair is up in a bun, she makes her way down the stairs, the music begins and Y/N knows her day is ready to begin. The lavish wardrobe is suited for the mass amount of clothes they now own together. The bed doesn't take long to make as the mustard yellow blanket covers the imperfections.

Y/N renovated her old apartment into a staff room and had lived with Elizabeth for 5 months before she finally sold her house for a number which Y/N can't even write down. After that, they used said money and moved into a house of their own. Y/N begged for the plants to come with them. "They're my babies!" She convinced her other half as the removal van got filled up with most of her overwatered children. They painted most of the rooms white and decorated them with the plant 'babies'. Elizabeth and Y/N made a deal: She can have her memorabilia, neatly, placed around the house if they kept the white, mustard and wood theme. Y/N opposed at first but after she presented an excruciatingly long PowerPoint of what she wanted the house to look like, the two came to an agreement.

A short trip down the spiral stair case brings Y/N to the living room where her early bird sat on one of the mustard chairs with a book in hand, a bowl of colourful fruits on her lap. The sun rays burst through our large windows- when they bought the house, she insisted it have large windows to see into the garden. Y/N had never owned my own garden and so far, it had been a luxury she would miss if she lost it. Saturdays now consisted of Y/N mowing the lawn whilst Elizabeth nurtured her vegetable patches and green house, which took a week to assemble as they both seem to have no idea how to use instruction manuals.

Elizabeth was incompetent when it came to building furniture but so was Y/N.

"Good morning." The blond greeted; book closed in her chest as she looked to the woman she was due to marry.

"Good morning, wife." Her other half responded.
