I jolted from my sleep, my heart pounding, and looked around frantically. I started to calm down when I realized it was just a dream. I ran my hands down my face feeling the sweat that collected on my forehead. I've been having the same nightmare ever since I Graduated high school and left that terror house and the monster that lived there. I glanced at my alarm clock. 5:30 an hour before my alarm goes off. I guess I might as well get up.

I got up and started my daily routine, getting dressed a bit dressier than usual. Today is the day I start my new job and I have to make a good impression.

I just graduated college with my masters degree and am quite suprised that I got this job considering how big of a company it is.

After I finished getting ready I take a look at the clock, 6:57. I have to be at work by 7:30 and it only takes me 10 minutes to walk there from my house so I decide to leave and stop for coffee along the way.

Grabbing my messanger bag I head out. I stop at the coffee shop, get my coffee and head to work, getting there slightly early. As I'm walking in I bump into someone. I fall to the ground, dropping my messanger bag, and barley save my coffee from spilling on the ground. I glance up at who I ran into and my eyes widen slightly when I see who it is. Stark Bane, the Ceo of the company and the man that can fire me in a second, was staring down at me with his beautiful brown eyes. Wait, beautiful? Get it together Oliver, that's your boss you're talking about! I feel my cheeks heat up when I realize I was staring and I scramble to get up. I stand up and reach for my messanger bag on the ground when I see that it's not on the ground but in the hands of Mr.Bane. I blushed more, if possible, and gently took the bag from him.

"I-I'm sorry M-Mr.Bane, I-I wasn't watching w-where I was going" I stuttered out. My body was tense and I just wanted to crawl in a hole and hide.

He flashed me a smile and my muscles eased a bit. "It's alright, it was an accident," nodded at me.

I glanced at my watch. Shit! I'm gonna be late! I looked up at Mr.Bane, politely excused myself, and started speed walking to the elevator.

When I got to my floor I went to the cubicle that Mr.James, the floors boss, had directed to be mine. I sat down with a huff and collected myself.
