SANA'S POV

I cried more as I hugged Chaeyoung, I'm really hurting, I never imagined that Vernon was gonna die, he was my only cousin.

Chaeyoung started patting me at the back and strangely I felt a bit relieved.

I finally disengage from the hug and sniffed.

Mom came later on and told me Vernon's body has been taken to the mortuary and the burial will happen in 5 days time so we were to go home for now.

We left the hospital for home and Chaeyoung and Tzuyu came with us.

We walked into the sitting room and I just sank into the couch, I can't believe Vernon is gone, I broke into tears again.

Mom didn't say anything, she was really hurt, she just went to her room without saying a word.

Hours passed by and my eyes were all puffy from crying.

"Sorry Sana, I have to go now, I promised my Mom I'll be back early today", Tzuyu said and I nodded.

"Don't worry, Chaeyoung will still be here with you, right?", Tzuyu asked facing Chaeyoung.

"Of course", He replied.

"Thanks guys, I really appreciate", I managed to say.

Tzuyu left the house and I was left alone with Chaeyoung.

"Shouldn't you eat something?", He said and I shook my head.

CHAEYOUNG'S POV

Okay I don't know what to say or do, I'm not good at consoling people.

I kept quiet and time passed by and it was already getting dark.

"Chaeyoung", Sana called.

"Yes", I answered.

"Please stay here with me tonight, Mom is really heartbroken too and she probably won't come out of her room again for the rest of the night and I don't think I can stay here all alone, I'm scared Chaeyoung", She said as a tear rolled down her eyes.

"Okay, I'll sleep over tonight", I said.

"Thanks Chaeyoung", She said.

"You should probably go change from your school uniform", I said and she nodded.

She stood up and almost fell but I held her.

"Let's go together", I said holding her hand and she nodded.

We walked to her room and I finally let her go after making sure she can stand on her own.

She slowly walked to her wardrobe took some clothes and went to the bathroom
And I sat down one of the couch in her room.

I took my phone and called Dad telling him I won't be able to come home today and I told him the reasons too, he had no problem with it.

Few minutes later, she came out of the bathroom and wow!, Even though her eyes were all puffy and she had no make-up on, she really looked beautiful.

"You really should eat something", I said as she sat down beside me.

"I'm not hungry Chaeyoung", She said.

I stayed quiet for some time, I really don't know what to say.

"You should probably change too Chaeyoung, you are still in your school uniform", She said breaking the silence.

"It's okay Sana, forget about that and just rest", I said.

"No Chaeyoung", She said standing up and went over to her wardrobe and began searching for clothes.
