You never thought you'd be that kind of girlfriend, the one who lets herself be petty because of jealousy. It's not that you didn't trust Hanta, but when you heard about it from Ochako... it leaves a bitter taste on your tongue. The rational part of you advises you to open up and talk about it with your boyfriend. The stubborn part of you votes to not say anything because you'll get over it; besides, it's not like the girl from Shiketsu High was hitting on him. The irrational part of you screams that you should act out so that Hanta will notice something's bothering you and then you'll talk.

Stubborn you strikes an alliance with irrational you; thus, your petty ass starts to show.

"Back to normal class tomorrow," said Hanta as he kicked off the floor to make the hammock sway.

"I know," you reply. "You don't have to remind me. I'm not stupid."

"I'm not reminding you though."

Oh. You remember you're dating a sassy one.

You tilt your head up to stare at his face and scowled. You're lying on top of him on the hammock. "You saying I'm stupid?"

He froze at your question; he walked into that one. "...no? I'm saying I'm not reminding you 'cause you're not stupid?"

"Then why state the obvious?"

"It's something to say, like small talk?"

"Aha! Small talk means you're getting bored of me." Your face triumphant.

"What? No! Are we having our first fight?"

"Noooo." You lay thick sarcasm in your words. "We're having our first wedding right now."

"You can't marry me. You haven't even met my ma yet."

"I was being sarcastic."

He rolled his eyes. "Way to state the obvious. I'm not stupid."

You gaped at him. His lips curled into an almost indecipherable smirk.

And so it starts.

You could be the most aggravating person in the world when you wanted to be. You'd dish attitude at Sero, and he would dish it back with ease. Taking your moodiness gracefully, he'd make you laugh, you'd scowl after because he caught you off-guard but he already saw your smile.

You resorted to spending most of your time with the girls, just to annoy the heck out of Sero. You snuck a few peeks at him when you see him come over your desk at lunch. Lifting a snooty nose up, you part your lips. "I'm having lunch with Uraraka."

"Good. I'm having lunch with Denki and the others." The mirth in his eyes told you he knew what you were trying with little success. Or maybe he's just dense about it. With the way he's grinning, he has no idea why you're acting up.

"Good? Having lunch without me is good?" You crossed your arms, and scrutinized his expression.

"Oh, right." He removes the grin out of his mouth, sported a stoic expression, and recited in a dry tone. "It's terrible, cariño, we're having lunch with the others, it feels like dying."

Your brow twitched at his sarcastic response so you scowled. "Then die."

"Only if you kiss me and bring me back to life." The tiniest curl of a smirk on the corner of Sero's mouth.
