Quirk Fiasco

Quirk two: Truth Be told

As you might know... Deku is hit with a truth quirk. This quirk causes him to say any truth in mind randomly or tell the truth when someone asks him a question.

Deku POV

I woke up feeling much better. Yesterday was crazy and I hoped to have a good day.

Hoped

I walked out my dorm on this great Saturday morning. I was the first awake surprisingly but that didn't bother me.
"Izuku hey! Perfect timing~" Mei Hatsume, the support course student, waved and ran my way. She always wanted me to test he crazy inventions.

Today was one of those days..

"Hey Hatsume-chan what's up? I'm surprised you're up so early."
"I'm glad you asked! I wanted to test my new invention!"
Sigh

Here we go again...
Sadly considering how nice I was...I said yes..

That was a mistake.

"Sure.. what is it this time?"
"Why so bummed? It's gonna be awesome!"
"That quote is why. Last time you said that I nearly floated to the moon.."
"That was in the past~ this is the present!"

"Mei it was 2 days ag-"
"Like I said, in the past! Now come on, let's go!" She gripped my wrist and tugged me toward the support course room. We walked through the large double doors to see inventions left and right and peices scattered everywhere.
"Looks like you've been working hard..."
"Yup! All my best babies lined up on these here walls!"
"So what am I here for?"
"I made a bomb!"
"Oh okay."

"HUH WAIT WHAT?!"
"Yep!"
"Mei are you trying to kill me?!"
"Ohh!. You misunderstood! It's a smoke bomb!"
"Oh.. phew~"
"Yeah the smoke makes you tell the truth! These would work greatly on villains! We can throw these babies and they would tell us the truth about everything!"
"So uhh... how long does it last??"
"Just 24 hours."
"Yeah uhhh I don't think I can help you~ you see I uhm..."
"Do you have secrets!! Or a undercover job?!"
"No i-"
"I'm totally using it!"
"Wait Mei don't!-"

*Pffff sizzle*
(Amazing Sfx 😌)
(Smoke clears)

My vision got a bit blurry for a second but not to long after everything was normal.
"Awww it didn't work!"
"Maybe it did??? I mean how would you tell?"
"Good point! Question! Do you like my invention?"
"Definatly not." I covered my mouth. That was not me speaking.

It did work

"So meannn~"
"I didn't mean to say that though-"
"So you were going to lie?"
"Yeah. Ughh! This is about to be a pain."
"I mean you aren't really one to lie so it should be fine right?"
"Mhmm s-sure."
"Btw, don't resist it. If you try to the effect of the bomb will be permanent."
"Noted.." I have to do this for 24 hours straight! What a pain in the ass. I'll tell Mr. Aizawa.

I heard chatter in the common area but I quickly walked passed the room avoiding any kind of questions from them. I went to the classroom to see Aizawa sensei in his sleeping bag on the ground.
"Sensei.."
"What do you want problem child."
"So uhh I let Mei experiment something on me again.."
"Of course you did.. what happened?"
"Long story short, I only tell the truth."
"Sigh.. I'll tell the class.."
"They are in the common room"
"Alright..." with another sigh, I watched Mr. Aizawa get up and walk towards the common room.
"Students.. I have an announcement.."
"What happened to the shitty nerd this time?!"
"Well he let Mei use something on him and now he only tells the truth. Do NOT take advantage of it. I'm going back to sleep.." he announced before leaving the room back to the classroom.

Chatter built up throughout the room again and that is when I walked in. Here we go... I thought before walking in.

"Deku-kun! Are you alright? Mr. Aizawa told us what happened."
"Yes I'm fine. Thanks for the concern!"

It's been 3 hours and everything was fine. I haven't blurted out much. Welll kinda.

Earlier

3rd Person POV

Deku was walking down the hall when he heard his childhood friend yelling at a familiar redhead. He decided to mind his buisness and walked passed but the bomb wanted to start something.
"Kacchan your yelling is annoying.."
"Huh?!! What did you just say nerd?!"
"Chill Bakugou! It's just the quirk!"
"Quirk my ass!"
"Kacchan it really is the quirk!"
"But that means you really feel that way! You just never said it!"
"Kacchan I'm sorry!"
"SHINEEEE!!"
"AHH!"

End of flashback

Deku's POV
22 hours total

I've been hanging out with the dekusquad all day. Uraraka was going on and on about how she finally started getting more money, Todoroki looked bummed, iida looked like he had enough of our bullshit, And Tsu was just...there.
"Uraraka please be quiet. Iida looks like he is about to blow a fuse.." todoroki said in a warning tone.
"Huh? I've only been talking for 3 minutes! There is still more!"
"Uraraka it has been 45 minutes. It's annoying." There goes the quirk again.
"I'm sorry that was the quirk! But please tone down the chatter a bit😅"
"I- okay sorry.."
"I didn't hurt your feelings did i?! Oh my all might I feel so bad! Go on if it makes you feel better!-"
"NO- I mean, no thank you Uraraka..." Iida said.
"It's fine 😅 no one hurt my feelings! I am known for talking a lot anyway 😊"
"Sigh. Okay thank god 😥"

3rd Person POV
Everyone was asleep and quickly enough, The quirk wore off.

That was the last time Deku accepted Mei's offers.

I'm sorry that was boring 🥲 I didn't have much motivation and I'm not sure what quirk I should make him get hit by next. Maybe tell me an idea and I'll do it.
