That was the first explosion, three years ago, nobodies really sure where it started, it just....
Happened.
The explosion caused radiation that gave everyone in the town powers, called those who got super powers mutants. Called it all a mutation.
They ended up closing off the town, keeping it shielded from the rest of the world.
My name is Keith Wither, I was given the power to manipulate the growth and movement of nature, I can create a titan out of any type of plant, I can move vines into the form a soccer feild and rise it above ground. I can cut out a peice of land and rise it to create a floading island. I can change the weather, stop it from snowing and make the sun heat to a temperature to melt snow. Make flowers so large they turn into a trampoline. Suffocate people with rose vines and suck them into the ground.
My best friend on the other hand. Nathaniel Brick. As sweet as a peach, eyes as warm as a thousand suns, can rise the dead. Bring the skeletons straight from the ground and create and army, which works well with my power as I can take poisonous plants and form them around the skeletons bones or under the nails of 'zombies'.
My daughter was given the power to control lightning, it was terryfying at first when I wayched her get struct by lightning, I almost completely broke down that moment...but watching her turn around, her hair standing up, eyes glowing and electricity zapping through her mouth as she smiled and jumped up and down, "Daddy, daddy!! Look at me!!", she had yelled. Nathaniel had already called 911 and the ambulance was there. Nurses immediately swarmed through the house, only to watch the 2 year old run through the hosue giggling as she tried to zap a nurse.
They looked at each other and stared at the girl, surprised but understanding that this child, did that, brought on the lightning and could control it.
And that was just the beggining...
