Memories

"From the time I was born I was loved by my father and mother." Sigyn started. In the circle you could see my mother holding me. My mother was beautiful. She had gold blond hair and emerald eyes. You could see my father had so much love in his eyes for me and my mother. My mother Hela said "Niklaus she is so amazing thank you for giving me a family because I never thought that I was going to find love. Then I found you sick in the forest and I healed you. When you woke up and looked at me, I could believe that I found my mate." Niklaus kissed my mother and said "You saved me. I ran from the abuse that my father put on me. My only regret is that I left my siblings. But Henrik helped me escape and then he used his magic to make himself forget so that he would be safe." As my father spoke tears were falling out of his eyes. My mother moved an arm from holding me and wiped his tears away. She then said "It was necessary for yourself Niklaus. One day we will go back and try to reconnect with your family." My father nodded and then took me from my mother and kissed me.

He lifted me up so that our foreheads touched and said "You are my treasure. I will spend my life protecting and teaching you. One day I hope you will meet your aunt and uncles. They will love you. Especially your aunt Rebekah she would love not to be the only girl only more." Niklaus began to hum and dance with me. You could see my mother just smiling and looking at us. She got up and put her arms around my father and I. I was sandwiched between them and baby me was slowly falling asleep and a contented look on my face.

After that they saw me grow up. They saw my mother teaching me magic. My father teaching me hunting, sword fighting, and hand to hand combat. Then finally the last day with my parents came. I was 7 years old. I was practicing my magic in the house. My parents ran in and grabbed and took me to the hidden room in the house. I looked at my parents and I could see that they were frightened. My father took my hands and said "Sigyn I'm so sorry. Your mother and I are going to have to leave you." I pulled my hands from him and cried. With tears in my eyes, I asked him why. He said "Your grandmother have found us and she is coming to take me back. If she finds you, I am afraid that she is going to kill you." He hugged me tightly and my mother ran out of the hidden room and she grabbed her grimoire and other magical items. She put them in a bag and brought them to me. She held my face in her arms and said "We love you so much and now we have to protect you. Sigyn, you need to take your father's memories of you and store them. Because I am a Taylor witch, I will be protected from a memory read but your will not be protected. Your grandmother can't know about you. I don't know why but I can see that she would kill you." My mother gave me the bag and hugged me tight. Then she ran back into to remove all traces of me from our house with magic.

I saw what my mother was doing and I shook my head and screamed "No!!! I want to be with you?" My father held me again and said "It is our job to protect you. I will not allow you to die because of my mother. Don't think of this as goodbye. Just think of this as a see you later. You will be with me again. I need you to live. Now you have to be that strong girl that I raised you to be." I continued to shake my head and then my father pushed me back so that he could look in my eyes. What I saw was fear. He had tears in his eyes and said "Please Sigyn I need you to survive." I put my hands to my father's head and said "I will find you again" Then I spoke the spell "Dele me ab animo" His memories came out in a smoke and I put them in my locket for safe keeping. At the last moment while the memories were settling in my locket I casted another spell "Quid mihi faciendum sit."  When I finished my dad left the room and was with my mom. While my father was still in a daze my mother locked to hidden room magically and then she went to my father and they waited for my grandmother to come.

When they came Esther used her magic to blow away the front door. Esther spoke to my father "Niklaus it is time to come home. I will not have your father hurt me anymore." My father laughed and said "But it is okay for Mikael to hurt me? I will never come back of on my own. I have a wife and for the first time in years I am happy. My only regret is that I had to leave my sibling." Esther looked at my father and said "Well if you won't come willingly then I will take you by force. Esther used her magic and threw my mother to the wall and then summoned a knife and stabbed my mother deeply and then let her bleed out slowly. She the summoned my father to her and started to erase all his memories of his time with my mother. While she was doing my father screamed at her "Someday I will make you pay. I will kill you for killing her" Esther smirked and said "I would love to see how you will do that when you will forget you ever had a wife. When she removed all his memories. She floated out the house behind her. When they both out of the house, she turned and set fire to it.

I undid my mother's spell and tried to save her. She put her hand to my face and said "Don't baby. You have to get out of here. I don't want you to die with me." I cried "No!! I can't leave you." She looked up at my face with tears and said "It's too late for me but not for you leave and go. Someday you have to get your father back." I cried and said "Mom you are a Taylor witch why did you not stop her." She looked up and said "A Taylor witch I am. Our bloodline were the ones who gave magic to others. But there is one weakness in our line. We can't use all of our powers when we are pregnant. So go, grow and save your father when you are strong enough. I'll be on other side watching with your sibling." After she said that my mother died. I took the bag she gave me and ran out the house and watched it burn.

As I stood was watching I made a promise out to my mother and sibling on the other side. I said "I promise I will find father and save him. But I will not let the both of you die in vain. I vow one day mother I will make Esther regret the day she came to home.

The foggy circled closed. I looked up at Esther and said "I came to fulfill that promise."
