I sat in my uncle's car sliently. The summer air coming in from the vents. My Mother and Father sent me to live with him for the whole summer and see if I would make friends. "So Ivy how was the plane ride?" My uncle asked wanting to make conversation. "It was chant." I said. I'm in to all mordern and victorian things, one day I would be wearing something from this century and then the next be wearing a gown from the victorian century. "Did anyone want your autograph?" He laughed. "No." I said back. My uncle is Simon Cowell, he's my dad's brother and i'm Ivy Elieen Cowell, Daughter of Karmen Quinn Cowell and Mark Joesph Cowell. That is IEC, KQC, and MJC, or thats what I call my parents.

"Are you having a good day?" He asked. "I guess." I said. I heard him sign. Then we pulled up to a mansion in the woods. It was a victorian mansion to be exact. "Welcome Home." I heard my uncle say. I got out and grabbed my stuff. I walked up to the door and a man opened it. "Welcome Ivy Cowell your Uncle has been talking about you non-stop." he said. I bowed in the mans presence and walked inside. "It's very well put." I said turning around to face my uncle. "Thank-you." he smiled, "I'll show you to your room." I nodded and followed him upstairs. We went tons of stairs but finally got to my room, a tower. It's exactly what I wanted, no joke. I gently put my suitcase and bag on my bed and smiled. "Thank-you." I said. Simon left leaving me alone in my tower. It wasn't scary. The full moon was brighting up the room.

I unlocked my old suitcase and picked out my victorian night gown. It was white and tattered at the bottom. I walked to the mirror and sat down in an old chair. I grabbed my brush and brushed my long brown hair. I began humming my favorite song and brushed my hair.

Upon one summer's morning

I carefully did stray

Down by the Walls of Wapping

Where I met a sailor gay.

Conversing with a young lass

Who seem'd to be in pain,

Saying, William, when you go

I fear you'll ne'er return again.

My heart is pierced by Cupid

I disdain all glittering gold

There is nothing can console me

But my jolly sailor bold.

His hair it hangs in ringlets

His eyes as black as coal

My happiness attend him

Wherever he may go.

From Tower Hill to Blackwall

I'll wander, weep and moan

All for my jolly sailor

Until he sails home.

My heart is pierced by Cupid

I disdain all glittering gold

There is nothing can console me

But my jolly sailor bold.

My father is a merchant

The truth I now will tell

And in great London City

In opulence doth dwell.

His fortune doth exceed

300,000 gold

And he frowns upon his daughter

Who loves a sailor bold.

A fig for his riches

His merchandise and gold

True love has grafted my heart

Give me my sailor bold.

My heart is pierced by Cupid

I disdain all glittering gold

There is nothing can console me

But my jolly sailor bold.

Should he return in pov'rty

From o'er the ocean far

To my tender bosom

I'll press my jolly tar.

My sailor is as smiling

As the pleasant month of May

And often we have wandered

Through Ratcliffe Highway

Many a pretty blooming

Young girl we did behold

Reclining on the bosom

Of her jolly sailor bold.

My heart is pierced by Cupid

I disdain all glittering gold

There is nothing can console me

But my jolly sailor bold.

My name it is Maria

A merchant's daughter fair

And I have left my parents

And three thousand pounds a year

Come all you pretty fair maids

Whoever you may be

Who love a jolly sailor

That plows the raging sea

While up aloft in storm

From me his absence mourn

And firmly pray arrive the day

He's never more to roam.

My heart is pierced by Cupid

I disdain all glittering gold

There is nothing can console me

But my jolly sailor bold.

My heart is pierced by Cupid

I disdain all glittering gold

There is nothing can console me

But my jolly sailor bold.

When I finished I heard moving outside my door. My door was opened a crack and breathes was coming in. I walked towards it slowly and opened it all the way. I poked my head outside and looked right and left. "Ivy Dinner!" I heard Simon call. I stepped out of my room and felt like someone was following me. I walked down the flights of stairs until I met my Uncle. I saw the man who had greeted me when I got here holding a tray of food and marching upsatirs. This place seems Haunted. "Ivy you seem scared." I heard my uncle say. "I am a little bit, I heard mvoing outside my door before i came down, but my ears must be playing with me." I said bitting my lip. I looked at my uncle. He seems angry yet sorry. Whats going on in this place?
