You woke up rubbing your head, and yawning. It was just another regular day. You got up and headed downstairs, making some cereal. You stared outside the kitchen window lost in your thoughts, soon snapping back to reality after you heard your mother say your name.

"Y/N"

"Hm-? Yeah?"

"Whatcha lookin at?"

"Oh, nothing." You smiled at her.

She nodded and headed over to the bathroom to get ready for work. You finished your cereal and placed the bowl in the sink. You headed back upstairs into your bedroom. You got some clothes and went into the bathroom and took a shower. You washed your hair etc. Once you got out you dried your hair and body, changing into your clothes. You brushed your teeth and sighed.

You've been wanting to go to the park for a bit today so why not? You headed downstairs and slipped on your shoes, heading outside and walking to the park. You decided to stop by the bakery first though. You pushed open the door to the bakery, hearing the bell ring above your head.

"Welcome back!"

"Sup Niki!"

"Sup Y/N!" She said doing finger guns at you.

You laughed, walking over to the counter.

"I'd like to get a loaf of bread"

"Alright, that will be 5 dollars and 30 cent."

You pulled out your wallet and handed her the money. She took it and put it in he cash register.

"So, I heard you went to the casino." Niki said softly, grabbing your loaf of bread.

"How'd you know?"

"Minx, she stopped by this morning." She put wrapped your loaf in a big napkin and taped it to keep the bread in.

"I see. And yeah I did. It's actually really fun."

Niki giggled. "I'm glad you had fun." She put the loaf in a bag, handing it to you.

"Thank you." You smiled, taking the bag

"No problem. Come again soon!"

"As always." You smiled, heading out the door.

You carried the bag around your arm, walking along the sidewalk. The cars passed you quickly, the wind blowing your hair. You finally reached the gate for the park, opening it and entering. You closed it behind you and went past the play areas, going over to the pond. You walked onto the bride that goes across it, watching the ducks swim and squawk.

You took the loaf of bread out of the bag, breaking it in pieces and tossing them into the water. You watched as all the ducks swam quickly over to the bread pieces, squawking and fighting over the bread. You softly smiled as something bright yellow caught your eye. You looked up in front of you, looking over at the end of the pond. There was someone sitting there feeding some other ducks. One was sitting in his lap and he pet another.  The man stretched out his golden wings which were hidden behind him until now. You watched in awe at how pretty they were. They were so big too. You looked away and broke up some pieces of bread again, tossing them in. You looked back up to see the man was gone. You tilted your head in confusion. You looked around a bit soon shrugging and continued to feed the ducks.

You soon ran out of bread so you collected your stuff and headed home. You rubbed your eyes, walking down the sidewalk. You soon reached your house and checked for mail. There was a couple things in there so you collected it and headed inside. You took out your keys and unlocked the door, walking in. You took off your shoes and placed the mail on the counter.

"Hello dear. Did you have a good day?" Your mother asked, checking through the mail.

You jumped at her sudden appearance. "Yeah- it was good. I went to the park and fed some ducks. Also, I thought you were at work?"

"I got off early." She smiled. "Me and my mother used to feed ducks."

You softly giggled, throwing away your trash and making a drink.

"Have you met someone you like yet?"

"Nope. I'm probably gonna find nobody."

"Oh my dear, I'm sure you'll find the right one soon."

You sighed, thinking about the boy at the casino who you had forgotten his name.

"You go head upstairs and take a nap dear. I'll wake you up when dinners done."

You nodded and headed upstairs. You closed your door changing into some comfy clothes and laying down. Could I find someone I like? Definitely not the casino boy, no way I could fall in love with a gambler. You thought before drifting off into a sleep.
