In the pure dark, that figure pulled me to a room that I'd never seen before, full of dark. I was struggling in that

figures strong grip, who upon reaching the room let its grip lose.

That dark sinister room, where I knew I wasn't alone, unarmed and frail. Nothing was visible except dark. I was waving my hand here and there making sure no one is around.

You will regre...' I gulped.

Regret dragging me here!' I whispered the rest.

Not really.' My voice came after a bright light turned on.

The light stung my eyes, when my eyes managed to associate with the light I opened them.

Three huge buff boys standing with the party hats on, along with a sorry banner and a cake.

My jaw dropped on the sight. They had wide smirks on their faces like they are so proud of what they have done. Looking around was a storeroom, filled with old benches and tables and stuff.

Now I know that you guys have never apologized to anyone.' I said coming closer.

What is all this?' I said touching Ben's party hat. I slapped my thigh and started laughing.

I laughed at the point that my eyes started tearing up.

She crying?' Vernon whispered to Ellis.

No... yeah? I don't know.' He whispered back.

Now my stomach started to ache I manage to stop my laugh, but then I saw the cake, " we are sorry for being dicks" written on it.

And I couldn't hold the laugh back in. but now they all laughed with me.

I am sorry Margale it was my all my plan, they did nothing wrong.' Ben said all serious, it felt like a genuine apology this time.

Yeah, we all did wrong.' Ellis said.

Sorry!' Vernon said sliding the cake toward me.

Our fault, we accept. And it's on you to hang around us or not, sorry for pushing you on everything.' He added.

Now we are talking.' I clapped my hand.

But I only eat chocolate cake.' I said looking at that large red velvet cake.

Ooh! I'll bring one, wait here.' Vernon said taking the car keys out of Ben's pocket rushing toward the door.

Wait, wait. I mean this looks delicious. I can try this.' I said with a wide smirk which was shouting "apology accepted"

So that means?' Ben said raising his eyebrows in question.

Of course! She accepted!' Ellis said all excited.

All thereof they looked me in the eyes in anticipation. I smiled and nodded as I could see they all lose their shoulders like a burden is off from them.

I sat on those broken rotten benches, Ellis and Ben sat on the floor leaning on to the wall whereas Vernon sat beside me. I sliced the cake and gave shared it.

Why do I matter?' I stared blankly at the cake, thinking about why the fuck they care so much about me. This question has kind of stick around me since ever I met them.

Says who? You don't matter!' Ben said with a naughty smirk of his.

I looked at him and smiled sarcastically. 'Then what's the reason behind all this drama?' I asked lightly.

Because someone here really likes your eyes.' Ellis said not looking up from the plate of cake.

I looked to my left and saw Vernon's wide smile. Then I devoured the cake.

It's been two months since I met my mom and I miss her so much. But I really don't think she misses me at all, she doesn't even pick up my calls anyway, I am here that doesn't mean that she'll forget me like this, I want to go back!' I said weeping.

Margale! You did send the application, it might take some time to get approval, we just submitted it.' Jade said wiping my tears with a tissue in her hand.

Sniffing the drippy nose, got ready for the day. Wore a skinny lilac-colored long-sleeved shirt that hit just above my waist curve, with black high wasted jeans underneath and with a pair of lilac sneakers, not feeling like styling my hair so I just let them down all frizzy hair.

I left for the objective classroom with red eyes and a drippy nose.

On my way there I felt someone behind me and looking back, there stood Vernon Russell alone, quite surprising that he's alone.

Good morning, Margale.' Vernon greeted. But when he looked at he looked my red swollen eyes he took a step closer to me.

Everything okay?' he said sustaining the eye contact.

I mean...' he put his hands on my shoulders and turned me around making me face the glass of windows in the corridor which clearing was reflecting me as a zombie with a style.

Looking at my reflection, I fixed my hair and turned back around to face him.

My God knows how much I want to tell him because I believe he can fix every problem of mine

My stomach aches a bit often. I'm not that good with enduring the pain.' I started walking as he followed me.

Then it must be unbearable, should visit a doctor.' He said all serious and genuinely concerned.

Ah! No, it's not that bad. By the way, where is Ellis?' I tried changing the topic.

And Ben?' he said.

No, I am not really curious about him.' He chuckled and I smiled softly.

Yet, I am very grateful that he is not around.' I added.

He gets on your nerves. Doesn't he?' I nodded at his question.

Everyone is petrified to be friends with me because they think that I am his sister, how dumb can they be? Even though our surnames are different.'

I was about to enter from the door of the classroom when Ben jumped out of nowhere and scared the shit out of me. I felt it in my stomach, the thing that affects me the most is my stomach if I am terrified, anxious, nervous, even happy.

I held my stomach and closed my eyes for my body to recalibrate.

Ouch!' Ben yelled.

I looked up and then down. Ben was face-planted on the floor and Vernon was above him, Bens arms were crossed on his back in a very painful position.
