The 2 girls walk over to the craft hut and make their crafts, the painted pumpkins. Alaric's was a mess of colors.

"I'm going to paint the sky," Rikari told Sylvia.

Sylvia decided to paint stuff from her various fandoms, Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls, yellow and black stripes for Hufflepuff and Amity colors, a very bad bard coven symbol for the Owl House, and last but not least the SkyClan symbol for Warriors. As soon as they are done, they go to where they would go 9 times out of 10 when they are done with capers, the maze. Sylvia goes in first, followed by an excited Rikari.

Rikari loved mazes. No matter if they were dark or lit, they were nonetheless exciting and thrilling for them. This maze was completely dark, and it just made her more happy. Rikari had a shadow, Sylvia, who may have been scared of how dark this maze was, but she did not mind this shadow and let her go in front of them when she wanted to.

Sylvia mostly shadowed Rikari, screaming at the mirrors because she was a little scared and freaked out. Rikari told herself they looked good in the mirrors, killing any possible fear out of Sylvia quickly and making her laugh. And of course they said their favorite line over and over again, "I'm on the scene and I'm inside your bed". Sylvia was walking behind Rikari when a kid jumped out at her and shouted "Boo!" Sylvia screamed. Rikari laughed, she thought it was kind of funny how Sylvia got scared at the slightest things here.

"You need to calm down," Rikari told her friend.

"Calm down? It is pitch black in here, and people are sneaking up on me!" Said Sylvia.

"Sure," Rikari said sarcastically, "Let's go up to the attic!"

Rikari started to drag her friend through the maze. They hit about 10 different dead ends until they finally found the path with a ladder. The hatch to the door was unlocked, Rikari climbed up the ladder first, then Sylvia followed. She entered a small, wooden room with a slanted roof. You could see nails and screws poking out. There was a small square window on one of the walls, when she looked out she could see outside.

"Ew," Sylvia says, "It smells like something died in here!"

"Yeah," Rikari replied, almost shouting, "Let's go back down."

Little did either of them know what they were about to start in that attic.
