Ro Blake
I really didn't expect Mr. Styles to ask us to investigate dad's office room this soon. And I absolutely didn't expect him to carpool home with us.
Mom is driving, and Mr. Styles is in the shotgun seat beside her. Scott and I... well we're stuck in the backseat. Even if mom is driving, she takes some opportunities to sneak glances at Mr.Styles.
Great. Now my mom is staring at him too. It's really awkward because Mr.Styles is younger than her...by a lot. But to my surprise, I catch Mr Styles staring at me through the rear view mirror several times.
It's making me feel more uncomfortable because he's extremely hot and let's face it- no one could ever avoid staring at him. But guilt is drenched all over me, as I have a boyfriend who loves me, and I love him too.
"Ro, stop staring at him, you're making it obvious" Scott whispers in my ear, sitting next to me. I shake my head dazed off, trying to forgot about Mr. Hotshot. Scooting over to the side near the window, I try to distract myself by looking at the passing cars.
The whole ride home is in silence. Mom parked the car in our lot and we walk towards our house. As Mr.Styles is looking around, he's also gazing at me through the corner of his eye just like how he was looking at me in his office earlier. I decide to go to my room before I do something I'll regret.
"Ro, where you going?" Mom asks me and I turn around, already halfway up the stairs. Scott laughs with mouth closed like he knows exactly why I'm going to my room. Mr.Styles shoots me a flirty smirk, which is making me want to pull out all the hair from my scalp. Does the detective that could find my dad have to be this hot? Shut up, Ro!
"I feel ...dizzy need a nap mom"I say trembling a little, and Mr.Styles chuckles.
"Yeah, it's her time of the month. Let her rest mom, we'll show Mr.Styles dad's office room." Scott says, smiling supportively at me. I mouth a 'thank you' to him, once mom and Mr Styles are out of sight.
I enter my room and collapse on my bed exhaling heavily. I try to get some shut eye, hoping to forget about Mr. Styles, but I can't help but see his perfect, beautiful face in my mind. My eyes start to close. He's so beautiful, the way he constantly runs a hand through his hair gets me overwhelmed, the way his eyes shine like real emeralds, his jawline...Oh my god!
Okay stop it Ro! Don't get ahead of yourself. Don't forget about Lucas, he's yours and you're his. Don't let a really sexy detective get in between the both of you. Even if he's a super hot detective. Hush, seriously stop it Ro
My thoughts are all over the place.
"Ro! Ro!" I suddenly hear mom calling me, so I snap out of my crazy thoughts and go open the door. Mom has a very worried expression on her face when she looks at me.
"Mom, are you alright?" I ask her.
"Come with me, you have to see this!" She says and grabs my wrist, taking me to dad's office room. The room is still in the same mess as dad left it in. I see Mr. Handsome going through dad's sheets of paper and sketches with white gloves on. Some plastic bags with labels are also newly laid out.
"Unless your father wants to write a novel about you, Miss Blake, I don't know why there is a sketching of you here." Mr. Styles says, showing me an intricate sketch of myself, my name written at the bottom.
"But that can just be a coincidence right? Maybe he just wanted to draw Ro because he was bored." Scott shrugs and Mr.Styles shakes his head, making his hair flip. Control your hormones, Ro!
"So explain why Miss Blake's face is crossed out in red marker." Mr Styles says, tapping at the sketch's face. Good point, why would my face be crossed out? Its not like I'm in trouble, right? I mean, its dad who's missing, not me! Mom looks really worried right now, and I'm just plain confused.
