We were standing outside of the forest of death. I think that's what she called it anyway- but I couldn't help but look for the strong chakra in each Genin here. Until, I finally pinpointed it. It was one of the grass Ninjas. I think. It was very hard to tell with everyone bundled up together.

"So we got a heaven scroll. We need a earth scroll. Easy. Shino, can you put a bug on each of us so you can always find us somehow?" Shikamaru started to instruct us.
"Yes, i'll put the female gender of this beetle on you. The males are attracted to them."
"Good, Sakura I want you to carry the scroll, go it?"
"Wha?! Are you sure Shikamaru?"
"Yes Sakura, I am sure." In disbelief I took the scroll from him and placed it in one of my pouches. I wasn't entirely sure if I was right for this job. What if I screw this up? What will my team think? Who cares? we will work together to get it back! CHA! Right. I guess your right. We got this!
"Okay, everyone remember the signals, formations, and code words?"
"Hai" Shino and I answered in harmony. We were prepared. My thoughts trailed back to the chakra signal I got.
"Hey guys, I felt a strange, powerful chakra when we were taking the written exam. It was definitely not of a Genin. I am pretty sure it came from a grass nin. What should we do?" Shikamaru thought about it for a second.
"Tell the instructor. And we will just stay away from them no matter what. We have to be cautious or we might die." I nodded.

We were at our gate waiting with the instructor for everyone to be ready. She was to open the gate when it was time.
"Miss?"
"Yeah Maggot?"
"Well.. I felt a chakra signature earlier. It felt way too powerful to be on of any Genin. I think it was coming from one of the Grass Ninja." She looked at me. Surprised, confused, and serious.
"I'll look into it Maggot. Now, everyone get ready and try not to die. You three are my favorite team so far." She smirked, trying to ease our tensed minds. We all nodded and got into position.
"3..."
I made sure the scroll was safe and secure.
"2..."
Everyone got focused on the task at hand.
"1."
The gate opened and we bolted straight into the trees. A B-Line to the team closest. Soon, we went diagonal and met up with them. Shikamaru gave a nod and we split up. Still unseen and un heard by the ninjas. I didn't get a good look at there head bands, but there chakra wasn't powerful at all. They seemed weaker then we thought. I threw Kunai, catching the boy I was chasing him and caught him off guard and then pinned him to the tree trunk. I was in front of him in an instant, covering his mouth.
"Do you have the scroll?" Fear poured into his eyes as he shook his head slightly. I checked his pockets and holders anyway. Nothing, only Kunai and Shuriken. "Thank you. Stay quiet and you wont get hurt." He nodded and I uncovered his mouth. I heard a slight scream, and then a pulse of three. I felt the chakra and followed it. I found Shikamaru in no time. He held up a earth scroll. We were already done. Soon Shino appeared and we all started to head to the building. We silently agreed it was best that we walked and saved chakra just in case something came up.
"Hey guys.. I'm worried about team seven.."
"... yes, they may run into that nin." I turned to Shino.
"Yes, I think we should check on them. From a distance then get to the building as soon as possible. We can possibly even warn them."
"Thanks Shikamaru."
"Of course, they may be our enemies here, but there still our friends."
