Epilogue

Haknyeon's eyes snap open wide. "ERIC!" Sweat cakes his body and he realizes that he is shaking all over.

"Haknyeon?" Eric's voice questions from the side of him.

It was a terrible dream!?

Haknyeon's head slowly turns to the side and his eyes lock with a perplexed Eric's. There's no wounds, no blood, no bruises, nothing. It's Eric Sohn, healthy and confused by Haknyeon's cry of his name.

A wave of relief washes over him.

Slowly more faces greet him. Lee Sangyeon, Lee Hyunjae, Lee Juyeon, Kevin Moon, Kim Younghoon, Choi Chanhee, Ji Changmin, Jacob Bae and Kim Sunwoo are standing with a mixture of emotions on their face (mostly concern and bewilderment).

Haknyeon chuckles.

"He screams my name and laughs?" Eric says, looking at Sangyeon. "Hyung!!"

Sangyeon puts a hand on Eric's shoulder. "Relax. He had a bad dream."

Haknyeon scrambles out of bed and rushes to each of them, giving them a huge embrace.

"Affection in the morning, eww!" New squeaks.

"I'd never hurt any of you!" Haknyeon says, as he hugs a grinning Younghoon.

"Well, I'd certainly hope not," Hyunjae remarks. "That wouldn't be very nice. And we'd have another Hwall incident."

Haknyeon ends with Sangyeon and turns to face them, smiling brightly. "I'm NOTHING like Hwall!"

"That's a relief," Sunwoo says.

Sangyeon chuckles. "Alright, so, since everyone is here, I'd like to speak about something important."

Everyone looks at him.

"You'll never guess what our next comeback concept is?!" Sangyeon remarks, excitement building inside of him. "Hint, it's sort of halloween-themed."

"More vampires?" Haknyeon questions.

"A sequel to Drink It?" Kevin inquires, lifting an index finger into the air.

"Nope."

"Finally someone is going to use my Halloween-themed idea where we all become ghosts and haunt a demented murderer?!" Q says, his eyes glittering. "Or...a horror movie concept, maybe similar to the Conjuring!?"

"No," Sangyeon says, building suspense from his friends. "Not even close, Kyu."

"Does it at least have blood in it?" Q asks, slightly disappointed.

"Yes, kinda. It's centered around a survival video game."

"Ew, creepy," New shudders with disgust.

Haknyeon's stomach clenches.

"What is it, Sangyeon, stop pulling our legs and drawing out the unwanted suspense," Sunwoo grumbles.

"It's called Maverick!" Sangyeon exclaims throwing his hands out before him in a ta-da gesture.

Haknyeon screams like someone being stabbed by a dagger and drops to his knees. "NO!!!"
