If we try to think deeply, and examine carefully every details of our life, we would perhaps realize that our relationship to the world and to others are just significant illusion. We are just actually a lone pilgrim in this world venturing in an unknown reality.
All the people we relate with, our friends, our family, our classmates, our office mates and all the strangers we meet each day are just part of the supplementing experiences in order to make our lives of value and maybe worth living.
Consider this: every decision we make each day, like; when we drink coffee, when we chose our course for college, when we went to a class we hate, when we chose a job or career, when we chose a boyfriend, or even when chose to get up in the morning for another day's break is subject or product of our own individual contemplation. Although all those relations that we have may greatly affect us but after all, at the end of the day we are left for ourselves to decide what life should we live. We are left in a dark room where no one to be with but ourselves.
Apparently, our life is a one-man journey. We live everyday by our own individual struggles, that is why even our happiness is subject to our own manipulation. Some philosophers would say, "happiness is a choice", indeed it is. We can be happy if we choose to be happy and we can be successful if if we desire it and decide to conquer it.
Our life is actually in our hands. If that is so, there is no point on blaming others of our own failures, of our own shortcomings and of our own lackness. Actually, we alone are the ones who make our lives, all the others are just sauces to make it tasty. So, it is always up to us how we make it.
Remember, we are just lone pilgrims.
