Dream and George have been together for a year now they graduated and bought an apartment together, it was just them in their little loft, for months the two wanted a pet to be around the place, and what better then a cat?! Both have agreed to having a cat and have been signing up for applications to adopt but all had been denied but one, today they where going to meet the 2 week old female cat at noon..

George rolled around in the bed when he felt arms around his waist, slowly opening his eyes he looked down to see his boyfriend laying on his chest, leaning down George kissed the top his head smiling.

"Morning baby"

"Morning babe"

"Still not in the zone?"

"Mh- no just woke up, my eyes are still adjusting to the light"

"Oh sorry!" Dream reached one arm over pressing the button on the light as it dimmed, the room fading to dark.

"Aw, You could have just waited till my eyes adjusted"

"Eh all I know is I just want to cuddle till the appointment to go meet the kitty!"

"Cuddle till noon sounds good to me, what time is it?"

"10:30"

"Aw damn only got 1 and a half hours to cuddle with you" George whispered turning to face Dream inches away from the others lips, leaning in holding the kiss before pulling away smiling at the other.

"Love you" Dream whispered softly, moving George's hair out of his face.

"Love you more"

"Oh but that's not possible" both boys bursted out in laughter leaning back into a passionate slow kiss.

Dream pulled into a parking spot putting the car in park before removing the keys from the ignition.

"Ready babe?"

"Mhhh.. yep!" George grabbed the papers they had printed previously to sign for the new cat, as they walked into the large white, and gray, building Dream intertwined their fingers opening the door with his free hand.

"Thank you" George whispered pecking the others lips as he walked threw the cold doors, the ac hitting their skin immediately sending chills down their spines. (Spine hurts now 💀)

"Mhm"

"Hello welcome to Orlando adoption for kittens, dogs, and rabbits, do you already have an appointment scheduled? or are you here to find a cute furry friend?" The older lady said as she started typing on her computer looking up to making eye contact with both boys.

"We already got an appointment to come see number 404 kitten"

"Could you tell me the names that you two put down for this kitty?"

"Clay, and George"

"Alright, she will be excited to see someone come choose her, follow me boys!"

Dream and George followed the old lady threw the halls past cages of other cats till they came up to the cage with a brown and black cat with some spots of blonde, white paws, white chest, with one streak of white up her nose, with beautiful emerald green eyes just like dreams.

Meow

"Awww, she never meows at people unless she likes them, she's a pretty chill cat you two would suit her quite well."

"Thank you." Dream smiled pulling George closer to him rubbing his arm as they watched the lady pick up the small kitty.

"You two roommates looking for a pet or?"

"Boyfriends actually, living together ever since collage in a apartment... almost a year now? The brunette said reaching out to pet the cat turning to face Dream with a smile

"Close to a year, but we are really looking for another presence around the place." Dream said taking the kitten from the older ladies arms stroking the kitten in his arms.

"Aw, well I'll let you two spend some time with her I'll be back in five minutes to get your final decision! Follow me to this room."

The past 5 minutes the two spent playing with the kitten, spending time to make sure she was the one.

"Awww look at her precious little face!" George squealed kneeling down, pressing his face against the kittens who was loafing next to dreams leg.

"She's the cutest thing I've seen today"

"That's rude" George said backing up crossing his arms acting like he was truly hurt

"I said today, your the cutest thing ever so that means your always cute Georgie"

"Nice save.." George whispered smiling as he went back down to the kitten

"Are you two ready to make your decision?"

"Yeah" both boys said in sync, Dream was sitting on the floor using the wall for support holding the small kitten in his arms stroking her back, George leaning on dreams arm whilst he pet the cat as well.

"Alright! You two have a name for her?"

Dream turned to face George looking down at the cat and back to George "we still going with the name?"

"Yeah I think it suits her" George whispered leaning down kissing the kittens head

"Then yes we have a name for her"

"And what's that so I can write it down on her adoption papers?"

"Patches."

"Aww what a lovely name, I'll get those papers along with her toy monkey and she's all yours!"

"Let's goooo!" Dream yelled startling the sleeping cat in his arms leaning into George before their lips connecting with one another pulling away once the other needed a breath.
