I completely forgot about a new assignment I was given by my teacher. DEW TOMORROW.
Running to the kitchen I see steve and bucky watching something on the tv.
"STEVE" Peter yells flustered.
"Oh hey, peter!" Bucky says.
"Assignment, due, about world war two, need help, fell asleep in class, help!" I jumble the words out so fast I have no clue how anyone would understand.
"Homework?" Steve questioned.
"Yes!" I say jumping on the couch with them and pencil and assignment in hand.
"I'll help" Bucky says looking at the paper.
5 Minutes later.
"Johann Schmidt not schmiddy peter," Steve said.
"Next question," Bucky says.
"Whose that?" Peter ask.
"Red Skull" Buckys answers.
"Yes, before you ask he did have a red face," Steve says.
Bucky says something in russian.
"No need to make fun of him bucky," Steve said with a parenting look.
"He had the serum right, so do guys have the red face?" Peter interrogated
"No, I don't have a red face..." Steve responded.
"I'd never look that ugly," Bucky said with a smirk.
Before Steve could say anything bucky tells peter. "Next ones Adolf Hitler is the answer."
"Bucky don't just give the kid answers" Steve frowned.
"Why," Bucky says without looking up from peters worksheet.
"He needs to learn," Steve said. "Education is important."
"b-" Peter begin but steve interrupted him "Peter don't even try to side with him..."

"Yes that was bucky when he was younger"
"Your smiling," Peter says looking at the photo.

"And no, back then it wasn't unusual" Steve smiled sadly. Bucky rarely smiles nowadays.
"Can I keep this photo?"
"What you need evidence of my smiles?" Bucky laughs.
"No, I just like this photo. It shows the real you"

"Yes that's Tony's father Howard Stark," Steve says
"Did you know him!" Peters's eyes widen.
"We both did, but it's complicated," Bucky says sadly.
"Bucky can we arm wrestle?" Peter asks
"Peter you're nearly finished you can't arm wrestle Bucky" Steve parents "Homework first"
"Party pooper" Bucky whispers loudly to peter.
Steve looked at them, Bucky was smiling and the kid was holding the picture close to him as though he was afraid he would lose it. Somehow the kid just made everyone smile.
