Thena and Kol Mikaelson were preparing for their last day in Paris along with their kid who loved Paris, France. The three have spent their summer vacation traveling here and there because Thena loved creating memories with her husband and son.

Thena decided she was going to wear a almost to clear vintage floral dress since it's Paris, and she can't look like if she just rolled out of bed. She was going to make her last day count before a long year of stressful headmistress duty.

Thena was finishing up her last touches, and headed to the kitchen where she saw Alec texting his boyfriend.

"You ready yet?" Thena said to Alec, "I am it's just dad who's taking pictures of himself in his outfit." Alec tells his mom.

A couple minutes later Alec and Thena turn around looking at kol who's doing his casual smirk already knowing what he's going to say.

"Darling, tell me how handsome I look?" Kol said making Alec groan at his little game he does every so often. "Hmm... I don't want to hurt your feelings koala bear." Thena exaggerates smirking at him.

"I'm offended darling." Kol says putting his hands on his hips.

The three laughed as they left the hotel room heading to eat at a small café before doing anything interesting.

The family enjoyed cruising around the town, and Thena made enough time so they could attend the art show because Alec loved seeing people's creativity, and mostly to send Elijah and Finn pictures of the artwork.

Their last stop was the Eiffel Tower, and to say Thena was excited. She's always dreamed of coming here ever since caroline talked about it throughout their high school years.

"It's like a castle, but see through!" Thena said excitedly before spotting a lady next to her to ask for a family picture to be taken, "Ma'am can you take a picture of us!" Thena hands the phone over to the lady who agreed.

"Say cheese!" The lady said, "Cheese!" They all said in sync with big smiles on their faces.

"You guys are the cutest family ever makes me reminisce when I was younger with my husband now we're old watching my kids have families of their own." The lady says smiling before leaving making the family chuckle.

"At least we won't get old and wrinkly." Kol says making us agree.

"I quite like looking this handsome."Alec says making me scoff, "You hang around with your father and uncle too much." Thena says waving him off.

"Oh please darling. you are by far the most beautiful woman ever, and amazing." Kol says pecking Thena on the lips making Alec groan.

"Eww!" Alec says, "Ew you Wolfie." Thena said scrunching up her nose giggling at his nickname. Thena had been calling him that ever since he was little.

"Let's head back to the hotel, and pack our bags before our flight in the morning." Thena says making them groan as she laughs.

The family after two long hours finally finished packing their belongings, and anything they bought to gift their friends.

They were exhausted from a long day, and already exhausted from packing. Thena slipped off her dress, and slipped on one of kols shirts hopping onto the bed waiting for kol.

"I don't wanna go back home." Kol pouts, "Neither do I, but we have to." Thena says making kol pout as he pulls her into his chest hugging her as he pulled the blanket over them.

"Don't you get that feeling that something is going to happen this upcoming year?" Thena questions kol, "A little bit, but it could just be us being paranoid." Kol said before Thena can respond her phone rings making her groan.

"It's Alaric ugh doesn't he know different time zones" Thena said before answering the phone, "Do you not realize the different time zone alaric?" Thena says.

"I'm sorry, but it's important!" Alaric says making Thena scoff, "I am busy right now, and currently not able to speak, but this can wait when I arrive." Thena says.

"You don't sound busy." Alaric says, "Oh kol right there yeah... mmm" Thena said making moaning sounds as kol holds his laugh.

The last thing they heard was the phone call ending making Thena cheer in victory.

"You're something else Thena Salvatore Mikaelson!" Kol says chuckling, "I learned from the very best." Thena said cuddling closer to him laying her head on his chest as they both drifted off to sleep.

The family were too busy in their own world, and had no clue what they were going to walk into once they arrived back to mystic falls. However, Alaric and Finn were panicking on how they are going to lay out the news that the Mikaelsons were coming to town in a couple days to enroll Hope Mikaelson.

The Mikaelsons aren't arriving right away in a couple days or so. However, Elijah will arrive first.
