So, actually what happened in the past is that when Y/N was very small she was coming Bach to her house with her family from a party. On the back seat she was playing with her brothers. They were in India. Suddenly their car got in an accident and Y/N was kidnapped by their enemies.

After the car accident we opened our eyes and Star searching for our sister . Then we all started to panick.
Jin - First let's wake up mom and dad.
Suga - yess..
They went towards their parents and start waking them up. But their mother passed away in that accident and their father was just unconscious. After sometime their bodyguard came and went to the hospital . Everything was fine until they again started searching for their sister.
Suddenly their father said to the bodyguard "book 8 tickets of Korea".

The happy Kim family is now cold , rude , merciless after that incident.
Their father became depressed and passed away.
