everyone sees him as a brutal, abusive, and intimidating presence, just how his tall and buff body projects. but who would have thought that this man we're courting someone? even his dogs and even his own siblings was in utter shock after knowing this.
"did you hit your head or something?!" hakkai shiba, taiju's younger brother asks while gently inspecting your head for any injuries.
"you do want us to bring you y/n-nee on the hospital?!" yuzuha shiba, taiju's younger sister gently pulled you away from her little brothers gasps, not noticing how the girl give hakkai her terrifyingly glare. making chifuyu and takemichi flinch on their sit.
"you guys...stop it, you're embarrassing your big brother" you laugh after seeing taiju with a blushing face while koko and inupi were busy talking about their gang. "so, how do you and taiju-kun meet each other? you've never talk about him to me!" you little brother, chifuyu matsuno asked, pouting a little from the truth on his statement.
"Ah. about that, do you think i would talk about taiju-kun on you? you will push me in hell if i ever did that because you always tells mom all the guys that approached me in school!" glaring at him, you sigh. "well, it's just like those typical romance stories"
"typical?" the blonde girl tilted her head in confusion, "oh! yuzuha-chan, have you forgotten that taiju-kun and I are best friends?" you said innocently that made the four widened their eyes in disbelief

it was just a normal school, normal students that also acknowledge as nerds, average, smart, pretty, bully, etc etc. and among those bullies, there sat taiju at the top of the throne, flashing everyone a long face indicating that boredom is slowly killing him.
and for those average, y/n matsuno stand out the most. her h/c hair lightly bouncing on her shoulder as she walk through the school hallways, her white and healthy teeth flashed as she greeted back the students. her beauty would definitely be a inspiration for some students.
but even you use the highest grade of glasses, what you seeing is right.
"taijuuuuu-kuuuun!" you yelled, approaching the boy that had his hands on his pockets. "are you free later? we could walk together and bring yuzuha-chan in the arcade again!" you smiled while keeping your pace so you're walking beside him.
" 'kay, let's fetch the brat later together then" taiju side eye you then just turn his head away as he sees how your bright smile send some butterflies on his stomach.
who would have thought about this friendship? they said it will be ridiculous if taiju were friends with the famous girl y/n. but just how you slap taiju's shoulder as you couldn't help but laugh on his joke.

"yuzuha-chaaaan!" you yelled, running all the way to the blonde kid. "did you do well in your exam today?" you asked, patting the girls head while taiju click his tongue on the way you spoiled his sister.
"uhmmm....yeah, uhm. uh... I'm on the top scorer on today's exam on math" yuzuha shyly bragged, liking the way you congratulate her not like his big brother who doesn't care at all.
"eeehhhh? really? math? that's my worst subject, y'know that?" then you came into halt taking both of the siblings attention. "then you should've tutoring me then!" you suddenly said making the two dumbfounded.
"stop saying bullshit and let's go! the arcade place will close any hou-"
everyone and everything become quiet, not even a single noise could hearm just the breathless dog staring at yours soul as if he finally found his prey.
"taiju! what are you doing!?" your panicking voice yelled at the careless taiju calmly walking towards the huge bulldog. "that's just a dog" he shrugged and still continue to walk towards it.
but at the moment it barks and growl, taking a run towards you three.
even yuzuha run for the hell of her life, you three run on the opposite way which on the road. luckily, the dog stopped chasing the poor little yuzuha and just chooses to run after the both of you.
you look left and right and there's no chance you could escaped from the hot tempered bulldog but to run across the bustling road. as both of you came into halt, the dog slowly approached you while it's growl become louder and louder.
"taiju-" when you look behind you, you can no longer see taiju beside you, instead you found him running across the road.
but there's a long deafening honk of a ten wheeler truck on the other way, about to run over the oldest shiba.
taiju finally notice and heard the honk of the and screams of people as he unconsciously stops running and just stare at the going truck. he was frozen, he couldn't move, he could already felt the trucks crashing him into pieces.
but what he felt wasn't a truck.
"TAIJU YOU IDIOT! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU THINK STOPPING IN FRONT OF A FUNNING TRUCK THEN! THEN-t-then...." tears peeking out from your eyes as your grip on his shoulders tightened while both of you just lay in the pathway. "Don't scare me like that!" you break down into sobs which caught taiju off guard.
"t-....thank you" taiju mumbled as he pull your head onto his neck, comforting you all his best. "I owe you my life y/n".

"so....the arrogant taiju is scared of dogs that it almost took his life!?" Draken snorted, his arms sprawled on the couch back, facing the other guests on the house.
"shut the hell up, even if you're in my feet you'll chicken out too! that's a fucking huge bulldog!" taiju glare back at the braided blonde man making everyone chuckle.
Draken's eyes stares on you, he watches how you laugh differently when taiju's around. his eyes catches the way taiju puts his hands on your knees to keep your legs away from koko who's sitting beside you.
Mikey and Draken look at each other then nod,
"guess the toman's girl in on the right man"
