Milo POV

Mondays.
I hate Mondays.
It's a pointless day
I already have to wake up early for work on weekends but school is even earlier
Plus I've been taking longer shifts and I still have to study to keep my grades at the top, it's absolutely exhausting.

~Oh well, it will all be worth it in the end~
~Right?~

I arrive in the chaotic classroom and capture the attention of my classmates, did I mention I greatly dislike being in the spotlight.

"Heyyy Milo... hehe" Zoe approaches me while twirling a stand of hair around her finger
Zoe gets distasteful looks from our classmates but it doesn't seem to bother her.

I dismiss her and make my way towards Zack.

I can already see his idiot minions in the back of the classroom causing some kind of inconvenience, but I choose to ignore it.

Me and Zack chat at his desk for a couple minutes until the teacher arrives and I return to my actual seat next to Jay.

He waves at me and I smile in return which seems to fluster him.

The teacher stands to the front of the class and speaks "Quiet! We have a new transfer student" this statement makes everyone quiet down

'Is it a boy or a girl?'

'A transfer?'

'At our school'

'?'

"Come on in"

"I'm Daniel Park"
What in the handsome is that-
No seriously he's gorgeous, probably a model
~I really hope he's not a dick~

His appearance caused a stir in the class, the group who's hearts raced, and the group to be cautious of him.
Me?
I'm kind of in the middle, he sure is fascinating, also pleasing to look at, I just hope his personality is just as good as his looks

Jay seemed to be fascinated by the transfer as well.

He ended up being placed next to Zack.

~Uh oh~
~Zack is totally gonna be jealous of him, this could be trouble~

I could already tell Zack was grumpy by the looks Mira was giving him
~Please don't do something stupid~

Before I could continue to think of that, Zoe approached Daniel and starts to flirt.

Lunch time
Finally

Daniel had captured the total attention of majority of the students.
This may sound bad but it's nice to not have the attention on me for once.

'Who's that?'
'Crazy handsome'
'Transfer'
'They say he's in fashion debt'
'Damn cool'
'Maybe even hotter then Milo'
'He looks strong'

I was about to ask him to sit with us but I saw him talking with Zacks goons
~that's odd~

-Time skip (after school)-

~Mhhhhh today was certainly interesting~
I make a sharp turn on my skate board and I can finally see my brothers school in the near distance.
~That new kid sure is something.. I wonder if I could befriend him?~

I finally arrive at my brothers school, I see Scout standing at the entrance waiting for me with his purple haired friend... Kouja.. Kouji? I think that's it? I don't really know him that well but Scout told me he's really smart.

I hop off my skateboard and greet them
"Hey buddy how was school"

"I told you not to call me that it's embarrassing" he looks in the other direction clearly trying to look cool in front of his friend

"Ah ok then, shall we head home,"
his eyes seem to sadden when I say that, because technically we don't have a 'home'

He just nods. "Bye Kouji, I'll see you tomorrow,"

"Yep see ya"

I walk along side my brother, until we get back to our tent
But the day is not over yet
Of course...
I still have work...
~The pain of existing is never ending~

This chapter was a lot shorter then my other one but that's because not much happened in the chapter in the lookism webtoon
