I wake up and quietly make my way to the kitchen. Olli was still asleep as he didn't have to go to work. I open the blinds to let in the morning sun which lit up the clean white kitchen. I open the fridge and get some fruit and yogurt out. I put the fruit into the yogurt and crunch up some nuts and granola and mix it all together. I sit down at the table and scroll through my Instagram. I hear footsteps coming from down the hall.

O-morning baby

He came over to the kitchen with his messy hair and husky morning voice.

Y/n-good morning, why are you up so early?

O-I wanted to see you before you left for your first day at redbull what type of boyfriend would I be if I let you go without saying goodbye, so you want some coffee?

Y/n-yes please

He makes us two cups of coffee then sits across the table.

O-so how are u feeling

Y/n-I'm nervous but also really excited, it helps that I know most of them already

O-yes I suppose it dose but I'm sure your going to be great

Y/n-I hope so, do you have any plans for today?

O-not really I will probably just train then do the shopping but I will see

I finish up my food then go and get changed. I put on simple makeup and straighten my hair.

Y/n-do I look okay

O-you look amazing

Y/n-thank you

I give him a kiss and pick up my bag and make my way out. I walk down the hallway of our apartment complex and down to the car park. I unlock my car and throw my bag into the passenger seat. I ring my mum on the way in, I haven't seen my family in months as they live in Australia. It's been hard being away from them for so long.

Y/n-hi mum

M-hi y/n are you on your way?

Y/n-yes I'm just leaving now

We chat for a little then I hang up as I have arrived. I park my car in the staff parking. The nerves kick in now. My phone lights up it's a text from olli.

O-good luck today I'm sure you will be fine, love you x

Y/n-thanks I'm just going in now x

Olli has been amazing. If I didn't have him I would be lost because it's hard being away from my family but olli was amazing. We had been dating since we were 17 so that's three years.

I take a few deep breaths and walk into the new redbull English headquarters. Their main one was still in Austria however they also had one in England which was handy for me. I'm greeted at the door by Christian who shakes my hand.

C-y/n it's great to meet you again how are you?

Y/n-I'm great thanks, I'm really looking forward to being part of your team.

C-we are excited to also work with you. Now follow me to the meeting room.

We walk down the hallway and into the room. As I open the door I'm greeted by max with a hug.

I had karted with max from a young age and we were pretty good friends.

I sit down beside max at the table along with Christian and a few others. They begin to go through my contract. It all seems pretty straight forward. They have very high expectations however. I understand that they are a big top of the field team and need drivers to do well but it's allot of pressure.
