One shots Sasunaru

Friday the 13

The night was cold the wind rustling through the streets.

It was a Thursday night hurried footsteps were heard along with loud demands.

On the bright side of this dark night the loud bickering wasn’t heard from anyone, due to two teens walking down an abandon part of their town.

"Teme! Wait!"

A blond rapidly chasing after his best friend. His school uniform consisting of a white button up shirt, and black pants sticking to his firm, and curved body due to the light sweat dripping from the heat radiating from his body.

Naruto's blue orbs glared viciously at his best friend who was feet's away. A pang drenched his heart with a heavy bitter taste of betrayal.

"Sasuke!" Naruto called angrily.

Sasuke gritted his teeth his onyx orbs flickered to the full moon above him. He desperately tried his best to get away from his best friend despite the guilt prickling at his heart.

He couldn't be with his best friend.

Not now.

Not at the few minutes to midnight indicating in a few minutes Friday the 13th will begin. His onyx orbs flicked to his watch.

11:56.

'Fuck!' He cursed

"Sasuke would you stop!"

Sasuke ignored his best friend his feet picking up pace. The blond gritted his teeth clenching his fist, and halting his tracks. He took in a deep breath with a ray of hope engulfing his heart.

"Is it true damnit!? The rumors of you not wanting to be my friend any more!"

Sasuke stopped in his tracks all his stressing of trying to get away disappeared, instantly hearing his best friends desperate voice. Sasuke quickly turned.

'Rumors? What rumors?'

The raven eyes widen witnessing the blonds orbs swelled with tears. They were at the brim of cascading down his cheeks, but Sasuke knew Naruto tried to fight against them. He saw how the blond was struggling to swallow his emotions. The intense grip his teeth had on his bottom lip in order for it not to quiver. The blonds body was trembling his heart crying for hope.

"Naruto what are you talking about?" Sasuke asked completely confused.

Naruto clenched his fist more his eyes narrowing in a glare.

"Don’t give me that!" He shouted stomping a foot forward.

"Every time I ask you to go somewhere with me you deny it, saying you are busy! I would understand, if it was a one time thing during a week, but every time I ask you, you say no!" Naruto spat with pain eating his heart.

Sasuke bit his tongue he knew the blond was right, but there was a main reason he was distancing himself. He could never tell the blond why, but he was dying to tell him.

How would his best friend believe him?

How would the answer, because of the date. The moon, and his age were the reason.

"Now, we rarely walk home together! W-what did I do?"

Naruto couldn’t keep the tears away or the helplessness in his voice. With those last words his tears cascaded down his whiskered cheeks, as his lips quivered.

Sasuke couldn’t watch.

It hurt him deeply to know he was the reason the most precious person to his heart was in pure agony.
