.The Next Day.

Stevie woke up with her head still on Jon's shoulder. It had to have been the first night in weeks that she had actually slept all night. Jon was talking quietly to Alec who was still sprawled out on an armchair under a blanket.

"Mornin' Stevie." Alec said and Stevie waved to him. "Hey." She said. Jon looked down at her and smiled. "You okay?" He asked and she nodded.

"Yeah... what time is it?" She asked and Jon looked at his watch. "Eight thirty." He replied. Stevie shook her head. "Fuck that." She sighed and rested her head down on his shoulder again and nodded back off to sleep.

An hour and a half later, she woke again. Jon and Alec had also fallen back asleep and Richie, David and Tico were still asleep. She managed to get out of Jon's grip and out from under Richie before heading to her bedroom upstairs, grabbing some clothes and then getting a shower.

When she came back downstairs, fully showered and dressed, she made coffee for herself and the five boys. It was just as she was pouring the coffee, the phone rang.

S- Stevie.
L- Levi.
N- Nikki.

S- Hello?

L- Hey loser.

S- Oh hey man! What's up?

L- Not much. Nikki stayed at mine last night.

S- Did he kiss you again?

L-...

S- *GASPS* He did!!!

L- *LAUGHS* Maybe he did!... What's that?... of course! Nikki just said hi.

S- Awh, hey Nikki!

L- She said hello... why don't you ask her that?... Nikki wants to talk to you.

S- Sure!

N- Hello!!

S- Hey Nikki, how are you?

N- I'm good, how are you?

S- Ah sure I'm grand, thanks. What do you want to ask me?

N- I wanted to know when you're coming to California? Levi said you had talked about visiting, and I want to meet you in person. She said it would be an interesting experience for me and I want to know what she means.

S-... *LAUGHS* Yeaaaaahhh... see. I'm going to summarise this for you in one sentence. Break her heart, I'll break your face.

N-... Aren't you like 5"4?

S- 5"5 and very much capable of murdering someone and making it look like an accident.
