CHAPTER - 18

POOJA'S POV:

Today is my "Thali piruchu Korthal"
Function ( changing thirumangalyam into gold chain).

(People from both familes will gather in the brides home and do the ritual by changing the Thali Kairu according to the morals like Oru kairu (single string), Erandu kairu (double string) they follow. Some people even go further and prefer gold chain based on their liking from 20 sovereign to 50 sovereign. In some families people will not have Thali Kairu they directly wear Thali made out of a single and thick Gold string.)

It has been 6 days since I married to mithran. Actually we will do this ritual after 60 days of marriage but after this day we don't have any auspicious day for this ritual and also after 2 days mithran have to go to his work and his leave is getting over.

I still have 2 weeks for my leave to get over because I took 45 days leave.

In this 2 days ( 2 days because she came to mithran's home before 2 days only from her parents home) I helped mom and akka (aadhira) in cooking and we made team against boys and made them to do house works like mopping and cooking. We three enjoyed lot.

Me and dad were done some gardening and planted some plants that I liked. Dad is very fun going and funny person but mithran and mama(maaran) will fear for him, I don't know why?. He is very caring person just like my father.

And when come to maaran mama he is just like a big brother to me. He is very caring and protective towards me. Me and mama will join together and pull mithran's leg. It is very fun to see his face when we tease him or pull his leg deliberately.

And coming to my husband I didn't not spend time with him so he is angry with me and didn't talk to me from yesterday and I am trying to talk to him but he is very stubborn than me. He is avoiding me like a plague. I am sad about this he also know that I am sad but he is not going to talk.

Thinking about him my eyes welled up with tears. I wiped my eyes to hide the tears from my friends.

My family and friends have arrived in the early morning itself. Today not only for me for mithra anni also today only "Thali piruchu Korthal" Function.

Maha and dhivya are doing my hair and achu is doing my makeup.

Me-" Achu please keep it normal dii, I don't want over make up"
I said

Achu-" Yaa ok de I know u keep quiet🤫 "
She said to me and continued her work.

Again my thoughts went to mithran. Today morning also he didn't talk to me. He just woke up and went to guest room to get ready. One drop of tear came on my cheeks.

Achu-" Hey baby why are you crying now. U know right I will not do over make up for u. I know u don't like make up so only I am doing little ok don't cry baby please we can't see u like this"
She said and hugged me but maha asked

Maha-" Baby I thought to ask u before itself. By seeing ur sad face I can say that something is bothering you. Say to us we will solve this togetherOk. Are u are crying because of mithran anna means we will break his nose. Ok"

She said and other two nodded her head. I shook my head and said what happened to them and unknowingly some tears came out from my eyes.

Dhivya-" Ohh so mama is not talking to you because u didn't spend time with him and ur are crying because he is not talking to you right? Wow.....what a couple yaar"
She asked smiling at me. I nodded and glared her for smiling.
