(~Your POV~)

It's late, but it's finally time to lock up for today. I go by and lock down each register. Walking past, I see Blueberry watching over me a few feet from the doorway. I sigh and thank him with a tired tone, "I appreciate it but you really didn't have to wait for my shift to be over for you to leave." "It's alright, human! I only wanted to make sure you got through it and home safely. I don't really have a reason to rush home anyway."

He's holding several bags of groceries, stuff he bought and paid for himself. I smirk, "You're going to have a late dinner?" He blinks, looking confused before realizing what I meant. "OH- This is for the week, heh. I already have leftovers at home."

'Seems pretty responsible. I can already tell he's neat and organized.'

Sans looks down the road, almost losing focus, "So.. See ya next week?"

'Right, our shifts are only for weekdays.'

Others may prefer or have to, but I'm not working through the weekend. That's my break time. I wave, "Yeah, I'm almost done here so go home and eat something..! Have a great weekend." "Mweh heh heh! You too, Miss L/N!" "Pff- Please! Just call me Y/N." I giggle, heading to the break room. I need get my stuff out of my locker.

Blueberry smiles widely, "Okay! Goodnight Y/N!" I heard the front doors make a small chime as he rushed out the store.

'It's been a long day.. Miss Aria says I shouldn't have a full day and night shift again in a while. Almost home, can't wait to go to bed, get some sleep.'

It took me a minute to grab my personal items. (Writer~San: Could be your purse, backpack, coat, wallet, cellphone, keys, etc.. All up to you and your imagination ^w^) Once I made sure I grabbed everything, locked the front doors, and shut off all the lights; I exited out the back.

Since it's a small city, so most of the streets aren't lit up. We don't have much activity going on this late, which is a good thing since everyone should be sleeping. I take a long glance at the night sky, observing the stars. Somehow, I find myself looking at them constantly. Constantly wishing that I might find something better to do with my life too.

It's not like my life is horrible or anything. I just have that craving for something different. Having the feeling that I'm missing something and not knowing what has clouded my mind for a couple years now.

'*sigh* Come on, you need sleep...'

I sigh and listen to my thoughts, walking to my vehicle. When I open the door, I suddenly hear loud laughter interrupt the quiet atmosphere. Spooked, I freeze in my place and try to determine it's location.

'Who's out here?'

I shiver and get goosebumps, not liking the situation already. As I listen, I figure out there's two voices in a nearby alley. Two are very loud and harsh, but I can't make out exactly what they're saying. Their tone is enough to give away that it isn't friendly. That's when I hear glass shatter and then a small scream. The third voice, I immediately recognized to be from Sans.

'BLUE-'

Imagining every dangerous scenario that my coworker could be in, I slam my car's door and sprint across the parking lot. Filled with worry and adrenaline, there's no trace of fear in my actions. He's in trouble. He needs my help.

Rushing into the alleyway, I see two men harassing Sans. His bags are torn apart, contents of broken containers are shattered and spread across the concrete. One man is causing more destruction, tearing open boxes and ruining the supply. The other has Sans pinned up against the brick wall, nearly strangling him with his own scarf.
