This is the last bonus chapter.
Alina's age- 33
Vincent's age- 37
The twins are 10Alina's POV
It was just another normal day but what made it special for us was spending time with our little family.
Today all our kids demanded that Vin and I take them to the park and play around.
As the years went by we got even more busy but always had time for our children.
Ezra and Elise were a complete copy of Vin, the same attitude, the same anger, the same caring nature. They always copy whatever Vin does, be it glaring at others, shaving their non-existent beard or wearing dad's shoes and suits.
Our next child, Theodore or as we call him Theo who's 7 was a totally mama's boy. Exactly like me. He knew how to mess yo with his father and then get out of it just like I always do.
Our youngest child, Gabriel who's 4 is a mixture of Vin and I. Most spoilt baby by all our family. I had lots of complications during this particular pregnancy, Gabe was born premature and I wasn't really good either. After his birth Vin and I decided on not having anymore children.
As we entered the park all the kids ran off towards the swings and slides. The guards surrounded the empty park.
I helped Gabe sit on the swing while Theo went for the slides and the twins for seesaw. Vin was just keeping an eye on all of us.
"Ready to fly Gabe?" I asked in a baby voice.
"Yes Mama." He said excitedly and I started pushing up.
"Higher mama." His contagious giggles filled the quiet atmosphere.
"I'm gonna bring you a cloud." He yelled happily.
"Don't loosen your grip on the swing Gabriel." I scolded him.
Once Gabe had enough of swing he ran over to Theo who was with Vin near the monkey bars. Vin helped both of them and the twins were now on the swings.
I never thought I would marry the 12 year old boy when I saved his life one day.
-
Like everyday mom had slapped me, called me names and told me to get out of the house.
I wasn't extremely scared since it wasn't dark and there were people around.
I decided on going to the park. Humming a tune I kept on walking and looking around.
As I walked by a car I heard the man inside the car speak. "Yes I see the three boys. Yes boss I'll crash the car into them."
My eyes widened because of what I heard and my eyes immediately searched for those three boys. I saw three boys in tshirts and shorts laughing at something among themselves.
The car drove ahead to take a u-turn and waited for the boys to cross the road. I saw the road was free so I ran after them and pushed them ahead while the car narrowly missed us.
I heard groans and whimpers followed by frantic voices saying something I couldn't make out. My arm was in pain and so was my right knee.
When I opened my eyes I was met with an unfamiliar pair of eyes which held so much worry.
He waved his hands in front of me to gain my attention.
"Are you okay?" He asked. I nodded and started to get up. That unfamiliar boy who looked older than me helped me stand up. I hissed when I was finally up.
"Are you hurt?" I asked him and he shook his head.
"Sir, boss has asked you'll to come home immediately and bring the girl also." An unknown man who was really tall and bigger than me spoke.
"No. I'm going to the park. Bye." I said immediately and turned around. Someone stopped me by pulling my hand.
"I promise no one will hurt you." That boy said softly.
"Yes little girl. Boss just wants to thank you." That man said softly.
Reluctantly I nodded and freed my hand from the boys grip.
The other two younger boys that were with him went off in a different car after thanking me and I sat with this boy.
"What is your name?" He asked after a few minutes of silence.
"Avery." I answered softly while rubbing my arm that was in pain.
He smiled at me. "You are an angel. Mom said kind and good people who help are angels."
Suddenly I felt very shy. "W-what is your name?" I asked him.
"Vincent." He said.
I nodded and then I noticed his scratched arms.
"You said you didn't get hurt." Disappointment laced my voice.
"It's nothing big." He said in a dismissive tone which I didn't like.
When we reached a rather big house which looked like a mini mansion he helped me out of the car and held my hand. Going into an unknown house with unknown people made.me nervous.
A woman ran up to us and hugged Vincent.
"Thank God you're safe." She sobbed.
"I'm fine mom. Don't cry." He said softly.
Even during this his hand never left mine.
Two more intimidating men walked towards us and stared at me intently.
The woman stepped back and examined Vincent for injuries.
"How hurt are you Vincent?" One of the man asked.
"Just 1 out of 10 dad." He answered.
His father nodded and his eyes landed on our intervened hands.
"This is the girl who saved you all?" He asked Vincent.
"Yes. Her name is Avery." Vincent answered.
Suddenly he smiled at me and stepped forward.
"Thank you for saving the boys Avery." He hugged me and that was the first hug I've got as far as I remember. It felt so warm and good.
"Y-your welcome." I said.
"Come let's take a look at your wounds." His mother said and I was about to protest but Vincent dragged me inside.
-
A hand wrapped around my waist snapping my attention.
"Why are you smiling like a crazy person?" I looked up to see it's Vin.
"Just remembered how we met." I said truthfully.
"I remember that day. You were so scared." He chuckled.
I smacked him and he kissed the side of my head.
"I love you." His grip around my waist tightened and he pressed his lips against my forehead.
"I love you too." I hugged him tight in return and he squeezed the life out of me.
