As Liam and I continued walking down the streets, we noticed there were more and more people showing up by the minute. Liam ocassionally mouthed "shit" or "damn" as we walked, somewhat casually, down these New York streets.
Then something caught my eye... I didn't know where we were going at first, because the streets were getting crowded, and then because Liam kept a poker face the entire walk, but in the last minute, I figured it out...
Those lights were vaguely familiar since I had come to this place once before, as a young girl... I looked at Liam with surprise and joy in my eyes. He finally smiled.
"SIX FLAGS!!!" I shouted into the cool night air. "Are you serious?!!!???" I asked Liam with a very high-pitched squeal.
Liam laughed. "Yepp. I thought we wouldn't get here on time, but here we are..." he looked down at me smiling.
I looked at his puppy-like eyes and hugged him. "But why are we here anyway??" I asked, with my head on his chest.
"Because I wanna show you something." Liam smiled again.
"Alright then, lets go... I wanna see the ball drop in time!!" I laughed while separating myself a bit from Liam, but still holding his hand.
Liam chuckled. "Fine then. The quicker we get ths done..." He walked forward to the Ticketmaster booth, with me close to his heels.

We were greeted by a young man, about mid-thirties.
"Ah, Mr. Payne, welcome back... what do we owe this visit to?? Its rather odd to see you alone, er, I mean, without the rest of the group..." he looked at me with apologetic eyes.
I smiled while Liam answered his questions, "Helllo Mr. Carson... well, I have this thing set up on one of the rides, and as you can see, I am most definitely, not alone... This is my girlfriend, Myriam Fahl." Liam smiled at me with bright eyes, and Mr. Carson smiled while nodding.
"Well, which ride is it you have this set up at, Mr. Payne??" Mr. Carson asked, while looking for some keys in a bag.
"The ferris wheel gig, you know which one, don't you??" Liam smiled at the man, then he looked at me with his bright brown orbs.
"Ah, yes... Of course, I should've thought of that..." Mr. Carson said while chuckling, then quickly taking out two sets of keys from the bag, walking to the gate station, placing a key in a lock, turning it. The main gate soon opened, then he did the same thng with the other key, in another lock, which turned on the ferris wheel.
I suddenly felt this huge grin building upon my face, I guess Liam noticed that as well, because he walked up to me and squeezed my cheeks, "You look so cute right now." he said, I giggled, then walked behind him to the gates.
"So, we're getting on the ferris wheel... may I ask why? Or should I be left to wonder??" I was still grinning like the dork I am.
"Oh its quite simple, we're getting on the ferris wheel, to have a quick look of the city lights." Liam smiled goofily, a hint of mischief passing through his eyes.
"Oh yeah... and I'm gonna pretend I didn't see that little look you just gave me." I said, giggling and walking inside.
Liam laughed, "Oh you caught me!!!" he did a very bad impression of giving in.
I laughed too, and while I looked up at the sky, one of my all time favourite songs came on. "Give me your hand" by The Ready Set started playing, I smiled brightly, stretching my hand out for Liam to take, he did so, and pulled me out for a spin, our laughs filling the place.
