Hello everybody! Skippy here! I just want to clear some things up before starting this absolute wild ride of a story...

Yes, you heard that right. Eldritch allgods in an object show. Huh.

Objects here are are divided into two species, Objectum Lither, the greater one, especializing in logical and critical thinking and somewhat-organized societies. Say, the active type. Objectum Porust on the other hand, is a lesser branch, good with physical and mental strength, but not very brilliant, per se. The passive type. Porustes have resorted to living in forests, mountains, caves and remote places as a result of Lithers getting all the land first and not letting Porustes live there because, quote-en-quote, "[They're] on a lower tier", totally ignoring the fact that Porustes could beat the living shit out of them, but, being not so smart, they of course didn't think of war.

Sometimes, when a Poruster breeds with a Lither, the result ends up being a "genius child" of some sorts, often combining their mental capabilities. However, these offspring are very mentally unstable, and because Lither societies see these hybrids as impure or outcasts, it can in most cases lead to insanity. This whole monologue is important because most of the characters here are Porusters, with the exception of Screw, the main, uhh, 'plot contributor', who is a hybrid.

Yeah, objects can reproduce here but not in the way you think. They do posses the organs a human would, generally with slightly less or more. They lack sexual organs, and the way they reproduce is sort of like, *cough* Dutch Angel Dragons. If you didn't know, dutch angels reproduce by combining their souls when they die, but for objects here it's different. First off, they have to have a mate that they are sure will be with them for the rest of their life (this bond is very important because then the second prototyping of their 'egg' will not happen, and it'll die), then, they need to start a ritual in which their very souls are temporarily extracted and sent to a higher plane, somewhere beyond the depths of reality, even, to be prototyped. These balls of soul are simply called "Powers", and each power needs to be prototyped twice to be able to hatch and create an object. The first prototyping is always already done when the two parents combine their very culmination of being, but the second is done by unthinkably complex creature(s) (they're often a single entity) living in the "backdoors" of reality... *sigh* yes, a human. Specifically, me.

Objects here are also by default, straight, but, just like humans, there are more sexualities. Also, yes, same-sex couples can reproduce. On the topic of sexuality, a big chunk of the population is asexual, and about a quarter of those are on the aro-spectrum.

Hope that explained something about this show and at least gave you some sort of idea of what's going to happen. :P

-Sincerely, Skippergears
