hinata hummed as he smelt the morning air. it smelt like rain because of how much it rained last night. he unlocked the door to his little bakery he owned. he stretched his arms and walked to the kitchen. no one was here yet mainly because it doesn't open till 7 am. but it was 5 am.

shoyo likes getting up early to get to the shop. he always cooks a special treat for the day.

but today he was going to make something VERY special.

because his husband was coming back from america.

he put on his apron that was a baby blue and washed his hands.

the air already smelt like cookies and he hasn't even began cooking.

he rolled the dough, stirred the batter, cracked the eggs, measured the milk, preheated the oven, poured the batter into the pan, everything you could think of, he probably did.

the batter was done and he put the pan into the oven. he was so excited to try the treats.

he checked his phone while he waited for the treats to cook.

he got a message from kageyama.

tobio<3 : hey baby, so i'm not gonna make it at 6.. i'm probably gonna be there sooner.
love you.

how the heck are they supposed to be done sooner?! hinata was worried.

he heard the bell of the front door and hid behind the counter and almost cried.

"sho?" a male voice called his name.

hinata was quivering because he was so sad his cookies weren't going to be done. and they definitely weren't ready.

kageyama walked around the corner.

"sho..?" he kneeled down. "what's wrong?" kageyama said in a loving tone.

"m-my.. cookies.. they were supposed to be done.. but you got here so fast.. a-and i just put them inside the oven.." hinata buried his face in his knees.

"shoyo.. even though they're not done, you could still make them." kageyama wasn't very good at cheering people up and it shows.

"i.. i could help you decorate them..?" he was hoping that would cheer his husband up.

"wait.. that's not a bad idea." hinata stood up and so did kageyama.

when the cookies were done they had fun and decorated them. they were so beautiful by the end, the cookies, and the married couple.

a/n; ok so i KINDA wanna make a little story on this. like a individual book. but when i'm done with the book i'm working on right now!
