Natalie felt this weird feeling and when she woke up she was sitting up in her room. She thought it was odd. She checked her phone and had gotten 27 messages. It looked normal. Only for a second. Natalie wished she could've frozen time right then and there.

Soon she would get the worst news of her life. The Last thing she remembered was sitting on her bed and turning into dust. And now she was back like nothing happened. When Natalie turned to dust it was 2018. The year on her phone said 2023.

Natalie thought her phone must be broken. She decided to text Natasha. It said Natasha had texted her 27 times in the past 5 years. They all read stuff like. Hi, are you there? Are you okay? Please come back.

"Hey" Natalie typed.

She waited for about 5 minutes. No answer.

"Hellooooooo" She typed again. Still no answer. She started to get worried.

"You good?" She asked. Once again no answer. She thought it would be a good idea to text Nick Fury.

"Hey Fury, do you have any idea what happened?' No response.

About two minutes later Natalie heard a knock on the door. She looked through the peephole and then saw Fury standing there. She opened the door.

"Hello," Natalie said

"Hello, Agent Woods." He responded.

"What happened?"

"Check the news."

"Okay?"

Natalie turned on the T.V. The first thing that popped up was the news. There was a lady in all black The headline said, People, return from "The Blip".

"The people that disappeared 5 years ago after Thanos' snap have recently come back. Families are delighted to be back together again." the lady on the news said.

"We won!!!" Natalie exclaimed excitedly.

"Yes." Fury said with a stern face. "But a victory never comes without a cost."

"Is the cost, us like dying for 5 years, but coming back?" Natalie asked.

"Yes and no," he said.

"Okay, what was the cost then?" Natalie questioned.

"We lost some people."

"Like who?"

"Tony Stark."

"That's sad, he seemed like a good guy."

"Steve went back to 1942 with Peggy."

"Oh... well at least he's happy!"

"And we lost..." Fury's voice trailed off.

"Lost who?" Natalie asked.

"We lost Natasha." He muttered quickly.

"What?" Natalie said in disbelief.

"Natasha sacrificed herself for the soul stone."

"No...." Natalie couldn't believe it. Natasha knew Natalie since Natalie was 12. She knew her for almost 6 years. She was like her mother. She took care of her when I had nobody. She faded to dust when she was 17. Then I wake up and Natasha is dead.

"I'm sorry, I know she meant a lot to you," Fury sorrowfully said.

"But she's not gone. She can't be. She's not gone." Natalie's green eyes suddenly became very shiny.

Fury then noticed the stain on his boots and stared down at them awkwardly. Natalie cried for a bit until she realized had been crying. Natalie suddenly became very uncomfortable, so she wiped her tears and got up.

Fury looked at her knowing she wasn't okay. He didn't know what to do. Natalie took a deep breath and Fury took this as a sign that she was done crying.

"I was thinking you could take some time off since you know, you just came back after 5 years, and with Natasha gone, I think it would just be better if you took a break to relax." Fury told Natalie.

"I'm good, I don't need time to relax. I'm fine." Natalie said.

"That wasn't a suggestion, Agent Woods."

Natalie stared at Fury for a few seconds. Fury broke eye contact and stared at his boots again. Then they heard a buzz. Fury glanced at his phone, glad for an excuse to leave.

"It's Agent Hill. I've gotta go," Fury told Natalie.

"What happened?" asked Natalie.

"What didn't happen?" Fury walked out the door in a hurry.

Natalie sighed deeply and walked to her room. She picked up her phone and her earbuds.

Her phone's wallpaper was her and Natasha eating ice cream at 3 in the morning. Natasha's fiery red hair was all over the place and her green eyes looked tired but they looked happy too.

Natalie stared at the pictures remembering all the nights they stayed up late having fun. Realizing how much she had lost her eyes got watery. Natalie then started playing "I Love You So" by The Walters.

As the music started to play Natalie tried not to cry as she lay on her bed. She closed her eyes to relieve the pain.

"I'm  gonna pack my things and leave you behind"

A tear rolled down Natalie's cheek.

"This feeling's old and I know that I've made up my mind"

Natalie wiped the tear off her face.

"I hope you feel what I felt when you shattered my soul"

Natalie tried shutting her eyes tighter so she wouldn't cry.

"'Cause you were cruel and I'm a fool"

Multiple tears were running down Natalie's face and she couldn't do anything about it.

"So please let me go"

"But I love you so,"  sang Natasha smiling.

"Please let me go," Natalie sang back while swaying in her seat.

"I love you so"

"Please let me go"

"I love you so"

"Please let me go"

"I love you so," they both sang synchronized.

Present Day

At this point, Natalie was bawling and she just sat on her bed crying. She doesn't have any idea what she'll do without Natasha.

Then there's a knock coming from the door.

"Fury, go away," yelled Natalie assuming it was Fury.

"It's not Fury," a man said.

Natalie got up, wiped her tears and went to see who was at the door. She opened the door and couldn't believe who was there.
