End-page sketches depicit medieval-evil agriculture where heads are planted, and they mature into skulls with biting fighting snakes growing out of them. These are gathered in a bizarre harvest.
Above: One of the harvesters using a long pole to uproot the skulls and snakes (not inked here).
Below: Plowing furrows with the bifurcated tale of a colossal red devil - he wouldn't fit in this frame but I'll cast his shadow out into the left background and see if that works - also cloven hoofprints in the foreground might work but I don't know if I could fit / show a full stride at this angle, given the scale of my plow-devil.
Inspiration: "The Sowers" by Thomas Hart Benton (see below this sketch). How scary is that painting?
