Chapter 43

Chan soon arrived at the JYP café and sat down nervously in a corner. There was a minute till 4 came, and Chan looked around anxiously for Felix. He didn't know that Felix didn't know that he was meant to talk to Chan.

Chan's eyes then landed on Felix swinging the door open. He seemed to be bickering with someone and Chan frowned, squinting his eyes to see who the person was. It looked like that Lee Know guy, and Minho was arguing with him about something. 

He heard snippets of their conversation that made the boy even more confused.

"Fucking $50!"

"....rich....earn money"

"don't care...pay me back....hate you"

"I'm...not...hungr-"

"Shit...Felix....go to...man over...there"

Chan's eyes widened when Minho pointed to him, but he took his sunglasses off and gave Felix a wave.

Felix stared at Chan with a surprised look before rolling his eyes and turning back to Minho.

"No"

"Dude....go"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"No-"

"Okay, bye!"

Minho then walked straight out of the shop, leaving Felix to stare hopelessly after him.

Reluctantly, Felix walked over to Chan and slid inside the opposite seat to Chan, before giving him a glare. Before Chan could speak, Felix opened his mouth and lectured Chan about what he wanted to say.

"Okay, firstly, I did not want to go here. You got that? I didn't even want to come here in the first place, I actually forced Minho to give me 50 dollars. Secondly, I don't know why the fuck your here, and finally, if it's anything to do with loving me, HAH, bye."

Chan rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.

"Alright, fine. I'll go then."

Chan began to get up, and Felix's mouth opened. 

"W-wait! J-Just tell me, c-cause I have n-nothing b-better to d-do!"

Chan raised an eyebrow and sat back down, giving Felix a smirk.

"Is there a reason to why you're stuttering?"

Felix's cheeks turned red. "No...duh. Now just hurry up and tell me whatever you want to say, my patience levels are decreasing!" He shrieked.

Chan snorted before taking a breath.

"Okay...I wanna get this over with once and for all. Felix...I do like you. I like you a lot, and to be honest, I'm not really sure why I do in the first place. At first, I hated you. Like, really, really, really despised you. And now that I think about it, I don't even know why I did. But after we became texting 'friends' I guess, and meeting each other in real life, I began to like you. I don't know which person I liked first. Was it Fextimus? Or was it Felix? I'm gonna go ahead and say that it was Felix. And finding out that you were also Fextimus, made me fall 10x harder. It was fun to think of someone as amazing as you, mixed with someone as funny and bright as Fextimus.            Not only that, but I know that you don't like me. Or at least, that's what you've been persistent on saying. In what I'm saying now, I want you to know that I like you. Love...love can only come after. When people get into a relationship, they never truly love each other right? It happens over time. I don't know if the same will apply to you Felix, but I hope one day...you might accept my feelings for you"

Chan ended his confession and looked at Felix with bright eyes.

The boy stared at Chan for a moment, before scoffing.

"Did you plan that long ass speech or something?"

Felix watched as Chan's eyes lost it's spark and his heart broke into pieces. Ugh Felix, why was he so stubborn? Felix knew that he had feelings for Chan, but did he really? It hurt seeing Chan look so sad now, and Felix could tell that Chan was hiding it with a smile. Why did he have to be so rude? Why can't he just spit the dang words out?

Chan nodded slowly, and looked up abruptly, seeing Jisung's sister enter the café. 

"O-Okay Felix." Chan's voice wavered as he begun to get up. "I'll see you around, yeah?"

Felix didn't say anything and looked down, blinking off some tears that were threatening to spill. 

He looked up at the girl he didn't know, and Bangchan leaving the room.

Who was that girl anyway?

Felix's eyes narrowed and he cursed the girl to infinity. Was she trying to steal Chan or something? Chan was his though!

Felix stopped himself. 

Chan wasn't his. Not at all. 

But maybe he could do something about that.

gAh there's like 5 more chapters till this book ends, and I'll have a few questions for you guys. 

anyway, i know this is a stray kids book and all, and i don't know if you guys like bts, but they made butter our school bell. and my school loves one direction. so that's something 😀 although i kind of wanted it to be like felix's voice.

in fact, i showed this girl in my class (not a kpop fan) his voice, and she genuinely looked scared. (well so was i when i first heard felix's voice)

also, iconic by twice is so underrated. i feel like it would've been as good as the feels. and it shows a different side to them which i love.
