Pov: meeting your parents
-fluff, angst

Today was the day your boyfriend would be meeting your parents. You were extremely nervous, I mean, it's not everyday your parents meet your psycho clown boyfriend.

Him on the other hand was pretty calm. "Baby~ don't worry~ I'm sure it'll be alright~" He said, wrapping his arms around your waist, trying to reassure you.

"Y'know, I should be the one saying that... But I can't, I just can't..." You said, sighing.

"I'll stay with you, yeah? Even if they don't accept us.." You told him, caressing his cheeks, which made him nod and peck your lips.

Both of you went outside and got in the car, as he started driving to your parents' house.

Some time later, you had arrived. You looked at him, making sure he was alright. He was more than alright, it seemed like he was relaxed. More than usual. You didn't know if you should be relieved or scared, you never knew what could be going on in his head.

"What?" He asked, realizing you were staring at him. You shook your head and got out, slowly going up to your parents' door. Once he had gotten out as well, you rang the bell.

After waiting for a few seconds, your mom opened the door. "Y/n! Oh my gosh! You're finally here!" Your mom said, hugging you. "Hi mom, I missed you~" You hugged back.

Soon, she pulled away and looked at Joker. "Hi ma'am, I'm Joker, your daughter's boyfriend." He said, giving her a slight smile. Your mom nodded.

"Come in, your dad is in the living room." She said, stepping away and leaving some space for the two of you to walk in.

"Y/n, sweetheart, how have you-" Your dad stopped talking as soon as he saw Joker. "Who's this?" You could tell he already disapproved of him.

"I'm Joker... Her boyfriend. Nice to meet you, sir." You heard Joker say, putting one of his arms around your waist, before you could reply to your dad.

"Boyfriend? Y/n, out of all the people, you chose... this?" Your dad asked you.

"Dad... Please..." You begged your dad to stop, since you knew Joker could get angry easily, and if he did get angry, nothing would stop him from murdering your parents right in the spot.

"Y/n, you either break up with him right fucking now or we won't call you our daughter anymore." He said sternly as you looked at your mom, who was looking at the floor.

"No, she's not gonna do that." Joker said, holding you tightly. "Right, baby?" He looked at you as you nodded hesitantly. Joker knew you weren't hesitant because of him. He knew it was because of your dad.

"Y/n, I will give you one last chance." Your dad said. "No dad, I'm not leaving him."

That was the last thing you said before feeling your cheek burn.

Your dad had just slapped you.

"What the actual fuck?!" You heard your boyfriend scream before pulling you behind his back as you started crying silently.

"Who do you think you are to slap her?!" "Her dad. I can do whatever I want. And no one, more specifically, you, won't stop me. Just leave this goddamn house! The both of you!"

Both your dad and Joker were fighting. Not physically. Yet.

"Baby... C'mon... Let's go home..." You said softly, tugging on your boyfriend's shirt. "Go the car, princess. I don't want you to see what's gonna happen."

(Joker's pov)
Thankfully she did what I asked her to do, not even asking why.

"Now sir... you shouldn't have done that... Because I will make sure you regret it." I said, before grabbing my gun and shooting him in his leg. I knew Y/n would be mad at me if I killed him, so I decided not to be so harsh on him.

"Shit! You fucking psycho!" I heard her dad yell at me, which made me laugh.

Her mom was standing there, in shock. I wasn't gonna hurt her, she didn't do anything wrong. She was probably afraid of him.

"Call 911!" He screamed, making her come back to her senses and doing so.

I quickly walked back to the car and got in. "Baby? Are you okay?" I asked her, pulling her on my lap. She was crying and damn, it hurt seeing her like that.

"I'm so sorry... Sorry... Sorry..." She said over and over again.

"Princess, c'mon, don't apologize, you don't have to apologize for anything." I said, caressing her back with one of my hands and wiping her tears away with my other hand.

A few minutes later, she had calmed down and fallen asleep on my lap. "She must be tired." I thought as I started driving home.

All I could think of was about how brave she was to face her dad. She chose me over him and it made me feel happy. She really was and is the girl I wanna spend my life with.
