the two walked into the restaurant the two sat down waiting for a table. it was their first date in a while, the two were nervous. walking up to the counter Vinnie asked about their reservation, nodding his head to signal for her to follow him. The two followed the waiter to the table for two.
'so what can i get you guys started with to drink tonight' the waiter said eyeing karina. 'ill take a glass of water' she said smiling at the waiter, her cheeks rising. 'okay then water for the lady' he said turning red breaking eye contact. 'ill take the same thing' vinnie said clearing his throat.
'okay great, i have a question and i hope you don't mind me asking' the waiter said looking at karina who was looking at the menu, looking up 'me?' She asked confused. 'yes' he said formally, fixing his posture. she looked at vinnie confused asking for approval to which he nodded. 'what's your question' she asked with a sweet smile.
'are you single ?' He asked shyly turning red, vinnies head shooting up to look at karina. 'uh' she said looking at Vinnie, him waiting for an answer with an eyebrow raised. 'no im not, im sorry' she said with an awkward smile vinnie putting his hand on hers.
'oh. no no don't worry, you're a lucky guy' he said looking at vinnie. 'Thanks buddy' Vinnie said smiling at the guy. 'Okay i will be back with your drinks' he said smiling. 'Thank you so much' Karina said smiling at him.
Through out the night, the dinner was full of laughs. it was as if they met for the first time again, but two years felt like so little ago. they felt genuinely happy.
As the night came to an end and the two sat on the mountain looking at the stars cuddles against one another, 'so i heard you were getting a reality show' she said looking at the sky. 'yeah but nothing important, what is important is the fact that you are going to drop your first ep' he said smiling down at her. 'you're so beautiful you know that?' He said planting a kiss on her head. 'you're the best' she said kissing his lips.
as the kiss got deeper, she climbed onto his lap swaying her hips as he fixed his posture not breaking the kiss.
As he came to a stop he removed his hand from her lap, changing gears, but placing it back after. Vinnie noticed a middle aged man selling flowers on the sidewalk, wanting to do a kind gesture he rolled his window 'how much?' He asked with a smile. 'Ten' the man said. 'Give me all of them' Vinnie said, karina looked at him admiring his kindness, the man brought the about 20 buques of flowers.
Pulling out 300 dollars from his wallet he gave them to the man. 'The man looked at him confused as to why the ginger gave him the extra 100, 'keep it' Vinnie said smiling at him and driving off.
