Sweet Lover is back after two months! If your still reading and you've been waiting you are the most amazing human being on the planet. :)

That night, Zayn dropped me off at home, giving me a sweet kiss and promising to see me tomorrow. I kissed him back and ran inside the house. I knew my parents had said they weren’t going to be in by the time I got back and I was right. I walked into a silent house and I sighed. I wanted to tell mom about my date and meeting Zayn’s friends.

I walked into the kitchen to grab something to eat even though I could still taste hookah on my tongue, I went for the salsa and chips and cheese, making myself a plate and then turning on the TV by the sofa putting on a dumb TV and then making a call to Camila, who answered on the second ring.

“Sooooooo, how was the club?” She asked immediately and I could picture her sitting on her bed with her straight hair and her makeup off, smiling into the phone and popping her bubblegum.

“Well, it was a hookah bar,” I told her instead and I could hear her gasp over the line

“Oh my gosh really? Was it still cool though?”

“Yeah it was, I mean, any place I’m with him is pretty cool. I got to meet his cousins and his friend Liam.”

“Oh snap meeting family, but not immediate family, this is a big step.”

I rose my eyebrows but didn’t answer for a minute until I realized we weren’t on FaceTime and then I spoke “Really? I think Zayn thinks of them as friends more than family,”

“But, they still have the family influence which means if they like you, he likes you a lot more than he already does…” Camila hums with a smile “So did they like you?”

“Probably just a little too much for Zayn’s liking.”

Camila laughs out loud “Perfect,”

“So did you come up with a dance routine that you want to do for the talent show?” Lauren asked, it was next morning, we were in the Starbucks drive through waiting on our coffees before class, which was now a new routine of ours.

“Kind of? I think I want to do a mashup of contemporary and hip hop, I really want to show off my turns.”

Lauren and Camila nod like they know what I’m talking about but I’m pretty sure they don’t but since they were trying to hard I just laughed and let them continue.

“Like, I want to show that I’m a serious dancer, lots of people think that Hip Hop is easy, when it isn’t you still have to train in dancing Hip Hop the same as training for ballet, or contemporary but hip hop is a lot more fun.” I tell them

“You should do what you want to though, don’t make it about impressing the judges, and make it about what you want to do.” Lauren says quietly “I’ve decided what I’m going to sing.”

“Serious” Camila says as she grabs our drinks from the girl that hands them to her and she hands one over to each of us and gives off a little giggle “Hit me with it, Mama,” She says and I nod in agreement, turning to give my attention to Lauren.

“I’m going to sing ‘if I ani’t got you by Alicia Keys,’”

“That’s such a good track,” I tell her, nodding in approval “I haven’t heard you sing though, can you give me a little snippet of your audition?”

At that Lauren goes pink in the cheeks and looks away which her own version of saying ‘No way! I’m way to shy!’ so instead I just rubbed her back and told her it was cool as Camila continued to drive us back to school.
