Being a human isn't easy. Look at it from our perspective. Werewolves took over our world in 2460. I am glad I didn't see the fourth World War. I wasn't born until 2510, lucky me. They forced us to become either their slaves, or become their mates. The Royals, selfish brats they are, rule our world. King Malcolm Crawford, is currently mateless, same as me, and he is cruel, selfish, brutal to us humans. My parents were killed and were at his mercy, but he raised his finger, and they were decapitated, with me, watching his every move. I am now just a lowly human slave, like the majority of everyone else. I will never be one of the werewolves' mates, and if I do, I will be gone.
