"Why are they men with guns in your house?!" Shantel whispered in my ear
I could tell she was frighten
" Kevicia take them upstairs" I shouted
When I knew they were far enough I shouted to the men "what do you want?!"
"You need to get married or you will not be apart of the family business" A man in black came from behind saying
"John?" I asked
"Hi brother, Dad sent me to tell you that you will be having an arranged marriage
"What? Why? No!" I said in an upsetting voice
"I know that's not what you want but it for the family buisness"
"So you and dad are just going to sell me like i'm nothing?" I said with water about to fall on my cheeks
"Andrew I don't want this for you but it's for the best, you'll marry the daughter of the spanish mafia " John told me
"This is the worst day ever" I mumbled
Shantel's POV-
"Kevicia take them upstairs" Andrew said
"Yes boss" she replied and took us to her room
"Why did you say yes boss isn't he your brother?"
"Yes but it kind of complicated, you won't understand" she told me
"🤨 well you haven't explained to me yet so of course I won't"
" We are in the mafia" she said with her head down
"Sorry I don't like talking about the mafia" kevicia said with her head still down
Ariel whispered to me "What's the mafia?"
"How would I know" I said and we giggled
"What are you two giggling about?" Kevicia asked confused
"Well we don't know what the mafia is"
"Are you guys living under a rock" Andrew said walking in the room looked like he was just done crying
" No but do you care to explain what the mafia is" I asked teasing him to jolly him up a bit
"The mafia is a type of criminal organization" Kevicia said not giving out too much information
"So you guys are criminals?" I asked
"N- n- no well...yes but no" Andrew said stuttering
"I was born into a mafia family and had no choice but to be apart of it" He said
"And my dad died in a mafia war so the meyers family took me in when I was 7" kevicia said
"She became like our sister " Andrew added
"Our?" I asked
"Yes I have 5 brothers but me, kevicia and mom moved here because the war between the italian and spanish mafia were getting more and more dangerous
"Wow"ariel said
"I seriously forgot she was here" I said and we all laughed
