the burrow - f.w

TW: a little bit of spice

Fred and I have been close since out first year at Hogwarts. Fred, George, and I met on the train and we instantly clicked. we became known as the three musketeers due to us three being inseparable and pulling the most elaborate pranks at Hogwarts.

The Weasley's asked me if I would stay at the burrow for the last week of summer and come to the Quidditch World Cup with them to which I said yes. I have never been to the burrow before so I was really excited.

I got a ton of letters from the twins over the summer mostly consisting of prank ideas and what we were going to do when I was at the burrow. They also mentioned that they grew their hair out over the summer so that should be interesting.

"Do you have everything?" my mom asked. "Yep im all set" I said loading my bags in to the Weasley's flying blue car. Arthur offered to drive me so it was easier and faster to get there. 

"Be good and have fun, i'll see you at christmas" my mom said wrapping me in a hug which i happily returned. "bye mom. i love you" i said to her getting in the passenger side of the small blue car. 

The ride to the burrow was smooth for a flying car this thing has pretty good handling. the views from up above were beautiful and they made me even more excited for the week i will be spending with the Weasley's

The burrow was the most amazing thing i've ever seen the inside smelled like cinnomon and mint and there was magic being used everywhere. "are you okay with staying in ginny's room with her and hermione?" arthur asked me. "of course" i said smiling at the man while he takes my bags to i assume ginnys room.

"everyone y/n's here" arthur shouts while walking up the stairs. what followed can only be described as an earthquake of footsteps above my head.

the first person I saw was ginny who wrapped me in a hug instantly. ginny was someone who I thought of as a sister so I gratefully returned her hug. "y/n I've missed you! how was you summer?" she asked releasing me from the hug. "it was great" I said smiling. "you look prettier if that's even possible! I wish I could have a summer glow-up" she said chuckling.

before I knew if I was being trapped in a hug by two tall boys. "hey losers" I said looking at them. they did grow their hair out and it looked really good. "miss us?" the two said in unison. "ew no" I joked. 

the twins hugged me individually. George was first and then Fred. Fred is the most amazing person I've ever met. he was funny, kind, caring and more. something about Freds hug felt different than George's, with fred I felt butterflies. 

I've always liked fred since second year. I've never acted on anything because I never thought he could like me back. he grew up this summer and he looked really good which is going to make it harder to ignore how I feel. 

after greeting the others Molly announces that it's time for dinner. I sat next to ginny and across from fred who smirked at me causing my cheeks to redden and my stomach to flutter.

dinner was amazing of course molly is an amazing cook. after dinner i went upstairs with ginny and hermione to catch up much to the twins dismay. i needed some girl time, it also gave me a reason to avoid fred.

"so y/n, tell us how long you have been crushing on fred" ginny said after she closed the door. "i don't know what your talking about" i said looking away from the piercing stares of the two girls. "come on y/n we saw you when he hugged you and we saw you at dinner" hermione said.

"fine sure i like fred" i said. the girls squeeled in delight. "for how long?" ginny asked. "since second year" i admitted. 

the three of us chatted the rest of the night about school and our crushes. before long it was midnight and we all decided to get some sleep. i threw on a pair of shorts and a sports bra with a huge zip up sweater zipped up half way. after i changed i climed into my makeshift bed and closed my eyes.

i looked over at the clock that read 2:30am. i couldn't sleep at all i have been tossing and turning thinking about fred and imagineing what it would be like to be with him, to hold his hand, to kiss him. i decided to go on a walk downstairs and get some water to clear my head.

i walked down the stairs quietly trying not to wake anyone. i tip toed my way over to the cabinet with the glasses in it and grabbed one knocking over a bowl in the process. "shit" i whisper to myself. 

after staying still for a moment trying not to wake anyone i filled the cup with water and chugged it down.

"what are you doing up" i heard a voice say behind me. my heart jumped out of fright. i turned around to be met with fred in a white t shirt that was quite tight and a pair of grey sweatpants.

damn.

"couldn't sleep" i said smiling at him. "everything alright" he asked stepping closer to me. "y-yeah I'm fine" I said getting nervous due to our close proximity.

"you look different y/n, you look hot" he said putting his hands on the counter I was leaning on pinning me there. "thanks" I said shyly. "y/n I like you and I can't hold it in anymore" I felt my heart stop in that moment with his words. "I-i like you too fred" I said. "do you want to go out some time" he asked. "absolutely" I said smiling at him.

suddenly I felt fred picking me up placing me on the counter causing him to stand in between my legs. "can I kiss you?" he asked me sweetly with a hint of lust in his eyes. "please do" I said smirking at him.

his lips were surprisingly soft and full. the kiss started off gentle but as it went on it got more passionate. he rested a hand loosely on my waist and one hand gripping my upper thigh my hands were tangled in his hair. 

fred takes his lips off mine and brings them down to my neck where he starts kissing and sucking my neck trying to find my sweet spot. suddenly a wave of pleasure overtook me causing me to mutter out a small moan. fred kept working on that spot until I was sure there was going to be a hickey there the next morning. 

once he was done he pulled away and smiled at me. "we should do this more often" he said smirking. "yeah we should" I said pulling him into another heated kiss. a lightly ground against fred which caused him to let out a low groan.

"baby don't start something you can't finish" he said teasingly. "hey is someone down there" we heard a voice coming from upstairs. fred and I looked at each other panicked. "um yeah just me Mrs Weasley I was just getting some water" I said. "ok dear sleep well" she said back.

"we should probably go" I said to fred hopping of the counter to walk away. "yeah but before you go" he started grabbing my wrist turning me around "I really like you and I can't wait to actually properly go out with you" he said smiling. "me too Freddie" I said reaching up to give him a peck on the lips. "goodnight beautiful" he said. "goodnight" I said before turning to walk up the stairs back to Ginny's room.
