∞Chapter 4∞

Charlotte POV:
I walk around my bedroom.I haven't been able to keep still.I haven't heard back from Niklaus.I was starting to get worried.What if he didn't want to take it?

I grab my purse and jump out of the window.I run at vampire speed to the Mikaelson mansion.I go inside.I see Rebekah and Elijah.

"Bekah,Lijah."I say.They turn and look at me surprise.Bekah runs over to me and hugs me.

"What are you doing here?"She asks.

"I thought it was time to come back."I tell her."And I gave the potion to Niklaus."

"He remembers?"She questions.

"I don't know."I shrug."He doesn't exactly know who I am so he isn't sure if he can trust me."

"He'll figure it out."She reassures me.I hope so.I go over to Lijah and hug him. He was like a brother to me.

"Lijah,I missed you."I tell him.

"I missed you too."He states.We hear a large groan.We turn to see Niklaus.

"You again.I thought I got rid of you."He complains.

"Well..did you take it?"I ask.He sets it on the table.I pick it up.

"Why would I take some random potion because this random girl shows up claiming to know me in the past?" He question.

"Nik,its true."Bekah states.I give her a small smile."You even loved her."

"I've never loved anyone."He remarks.

"Actually you have.And you were the best."I tell him.

"Love is weakness."He states.

I can't believe he's saying this.I knew people called him a monster.But he only became this way because he was scared.I take the potion and pour it in his mouth.His eyes go wide.

"Charlotte."He says in shock.I go over to him.I cradle his face with my hands. He pins me to the wall with his hands on my neck.

"What are you doing?"I choke.

"You made me forget about you for 1000 years."He yells.Tears start to stream down my face."Why?Why would you do that?"

"It was the only way to keep you safe."I tell him.Then there was a loud crack before I fell into complete darkness.
