"You ready?" My mom asked. I nodded feeling tears form in my eyes I didn't want to cry infront of my family but...it just felt....nevermind
This was the first time in my 13 years of living that I would live on my own. I was scared thinking about the negative stuff.
"I don't wanna go" I whispered in my mom's arms. She silently cried with me while rubbing my back. I felt so bad for her. Not just her my whole family.
"Beam you have to go. You've been waiting for this moment to happen." She paused for a second before looking me in the eye.
"Could all passengers flying from Japan to Korea please go to gate b please thank you."
I looked my mom in the eyes and said "I love you." I then walked off to my gate.
Before going through I looked back at my mom one last time. She was waving while tears covered her pale face. I waved back until I went to the gate.
This was only the start of
being an idol...
