J was already there, sitting in front of the class with her pearly white jacket decorated by a golden necklace with a yellow topaz that enhanced that little devious spark in her brown eyes. "Charlie! Come sit here" But C. knew what it was all about and she didn't want to get involved in her friends little past time. J was hooked on the new history teacher, a young man just out of university. "Julia, just leave the poor guy alone" "Who says I'll do anything? Is it a crime to watch?" And whose fault is it that the teacher was an eye candy! "I'm not blind" Meanwhile Alex and his groupie of friends sat in the middle. While Mikey was left to sit alone, no one wanted to associate with him and no one wasted any time before making snarky remarks and side eyeing him. But he didn't care. Some sat in the back, where they could do as they pleased. No one says anything to them, as long as your parents give money to the school all is fine. "It's our world" C said. "Our rules" "And you're either in our you're OUT." ———-~~~~~~————~~~~~~~~——— *recess* Mikey went to the bathroom to smoke a joint. "Fuck off Presley!" Damn one can't even take a shit here without assholes everywhere~he thought He tried to smoke close to the window so not to get in trouble, not that it meant a lot really. Just call your mom and fake cry, it always works. "Hey Mikey, we need to talk" It was J. "Well I'm taking a shit so can we talk later" The girl kicked the door just enough to open it "Oh please Mikey. That is a trash joint" she offered him a new one. He looked at her and smiled J. was nearly as troubled as him, but she faked it better. "Are you coming tonight?" "Where?" "Duh! The Rumpus of course" the best nightclub in town. "Maybe not" J. was shocked by that. Mikey refusing to get high as a kite, meeting new girls and guys to spend the night, and basically trashing his body? That was newsworthy. "Really I can't. My mom wants me for dinner to meet her boyfriend" "Then good luck" she gave him a kiss on the cheek, her usual friendly gesture to her favourite lost boy. ————-~~~~~~~————~~~~~~~~——- Charlie and Alex were sitting in the cafeteria, watching all the peasant frantically moving between classes. Alex with his calm and perfect attitude could drive anyone insane. Not a single hair was out of place, he was always the first to arrive, the last to leave, perfectly dressed and always polite. J. joined them on the table "You should stop talking to Mikey" C. said while J rolled her eyes. Both C and A dislikes Mikey for whatever reason. "Anyway, the news about your summer fling is officially dead" A said with a prideful glee on his face "Someone I knew found the person who leaked the story and he agreed to shut up" J. was annoyed and amused at the same time "You know Alex? I always asked myself where do you find these people" "Next time be more careful" Alex replied "Gossip Girl has influence" "Oh please, as If anyone who truly matters cares about GG!" "Julia, you can't buy reputation" he said, a little annoyed by his friends stubbornness. "Well, you can buy silence though"
