"Mom, where's dad?" A girl with doe eyes asked her mother.
"She's in the company honey. Why?" She asked her daughter who's fidgeting with her fingers.
"Is something important you wanna talk to her?"
Her mother voice was curious.
"It is, mom. T-there was a guy who asked me out yesterday. And I like him too"
She confessed and her eyes stick to the floor coz she don't know how her mother reacts to it.
"So? You didn't answer him yet? Is he the one who dropped you last week?"
She asked as she stopped cutting the vegetables and now her eyes focused on her daughter.
"Y-yes. But dad beat him up after that. That's why I need to talk to her first"
She said with a hint of anger in her voice.
Her mother didn't like her attitude towards her dad.
"Honey, your dad won't do anything without thinking. So stop being angry"
She warned her smoothly.
"Mom, but I like him. he's a nice guy." She said sternly and she sighed.
"Okay. She will be here soon. And remember, don't make your dad mad"
She said and get back to what she's doing.
And they heard the car horn which made her daughter startle.
It's not like she's afraid of her dad but this whole dating thing with that guy don't make her dad feel good.
"I think she's here honey" Her mother bring her out of the trance.
"O-okay mom. I'll be in my room and let dad fresh up first.
Then I'll talk to her later"
She said and was about to leave but her dad was already here.
"Princess, don't go out with that guy and that's it"
She said to her daughter and her wife bit her lip with her stern voice.
It means she's serious.
And her daughter knows it too.
"But dad --" she tried to explain but she shook her head as no.
"I don't wanna hear anything anymore boo. Just go to Your room"
She said and give her space so that she will leave the room and just like that her daughter got pissed as she stomped her feet and left the room.
Not before she says four words that hurt her father.
"I hate you, dad"
After she left, there's silence enveloped the room.

She asked her wife.
He's no good for our daughter and that's why. I want the best for my princess.
She said and hugged her wife from behind.
