Fuck my head hurts...
I've come accustomed to these headaches, but it's still annoying. This beeping doesn't help either...
Beeping?
My eyes pop open and I observe my surroundings. I'm in a hospital room... an expensive one at that.
But I'm not alone. I'm never alone when it comes to the guys. I see Sam with his arms crossed staring at the window... Seb is typing away on a laptop and Luke-
Luke is leaning back in the chair with his eyes closed. Wearing his black scrubs as usual... I try not to draw attention to myself, wanting to stare at them longer.
I want to see how long it takes them to notice that I'm awake.
I am connected to a heart monitor, blood pressure cuff, a pulse oximeter on my finger, and I have an oxygen cord hanging off my ears into my nostrils.
"You good, Sam?" Seb asks, looking over at him. He doesn't look away from the window as raindrops start to hit it.
"I understand she needed these tests but- seeing her so helpless and scared didn't make me feel good, 'Bastiàn." Sam shakes his head, still not looking over towards me.
The rain is now coming down harder, banging on the window causing this immediate calm to wash over me. I love this weather. When I was in college, I was looking for jobs in Seattle so I could have this weather all the time. Well, that plan was ruined.
"Sam, she just had a partial seizure. Which helped Luke with the results. I understand it was tough to watch, but we are surgeons. We are trained for situations like this." Seb stands up, puts his laptop on the chair and walks over to Sam. "Come here." He reaches his arms out and they hug each other.
But it doesn't seem like just a hug between two friends... there is love in that hug. Pure love...
Then I see something that makes my jaw fall open. Sam kisses Seb on the lips... Seb puts his hands through Sam's hair, pushing it back in a comforting manner.
I- they...
"Good morning." I look over to see Luke, staring straight at me. Catching me. I clamp my mouth shut before Seb and Sam whip their heads at me.
"Hi." I breathe, faking yawning.
"Ma chérie, you're awake!" Sam rushes over to my side and places a bunch of kisses on my hand. All I can think about it is the two kissing... Are they-
"What's wrong?" Seb asks, "Are you in any pain?" Rushing over to my side as well, ready to jump into action.
"She saw you guys kissing." Luke rats me out, causing me to squeeze my eyes shut.
