Introduction

Nia,Booker, Levi, Levi's mom Cheslea, and the twins' mom Raven all live in an apartment complex down in Chicago.

Nia's best friend Tess lived in the apartment right across from them, but she was staying at their house because her parents had to go out of town for their job and Raven offered to look after Tess since she's only 15 and she doesn't want her to be left home alone for a long period of time .

Tess is going to be sleeping in Nia's room because Nia has a bed with a trundle underneath it that Tess can sleep on.

Tess, Booker, and Nia started high school 3 months ago and Levi started middle school 3 months ago.

Nia actually really enjoys high school because she is apart of many clubs like the book club, environmental club,tutoring, and she is thinking about running for president.

Tess really doesn't know how she feels about high school yet. Three weeks into school Ramon broke up with her because he thought she liked Booker, so she just wants a fresh start. She's on the girls basketball team which is one of the only parts of school that she actually enjoys at the moment.

Booker is still trying to get used to not being able to talk to Levi at school and he's having a lot of trouble making friends. He is on the football team but he doesn't really click with any of the boys on the team. Although he loves football, its not as fun as he thought it would be. He looks forward to lunch because he gets to sit with Tess and Nia.

Levi loves everything about Middle School, the classes, the people, and even the teachers. And even though he misses Booker and the girls, he has made a friend group of his own and he is the director in drama club.

Hope you guys are excited! This was just the introduction so I was just telling yall some background information. Stay tuned for chapter 1...
