My Best Friend's Twin Brother

POV: Tess
Me and Nia have been best friends since the 1st grade, so I don't think me staying with her and her family will be that big of a deal. Especially considering I practically already live there.

Today I have to make sure all my basic stuff is packed. I didn't pack too much because my house is literally right across from theirs and since my mom recently gave me a key, I can go and get things from it when I need to.

I think this is the list of what I'm going to pack.
- 6 outfits
- 2 pairs of pajamas
- A onesie
- undergarments
- toothpaste, lotion, face wash, soap, etc - My laptop
- All my chargers
- My makeup
- 4 pairs of shoes

After I finished packing, I said goodbye to my parents. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was gonna be, but I already know I'm going to feel it later.

After I said goodbye, I grabbed my suitcase and my backpack and headed to the twins house. I knocked on the door, but no one answered me so I just walked in because they never lock their door. (Btw they should definitely start because that is actually so unsafe). I put my stuff down in Nia's room, and I heard noise coming from Booker and Levi's room. I didn't think Nia was in there because she tries her hardest to stay out of their room as much as possible. Which I don't blame her because it's always a mess, but I'm going to make it my mission not to be a clean freak like last time and spend time with them.

I was shocked at what I saw when I walked in. Nia was playing with Booker on his play station. I was so confused because Nia doesn't like video games and she told me like over a thousand times.
"Hey Tess," Booker exclaimed.
"Hey, what's going on?"
"Nia lost a bet against Booker,"Levi answered.
"Oooh, what was the bet?"
"Well Booker said if he could get a good grade on his history test without studying, Nia would have to play a game with him."
"BRUH! HOW ARE YOU DOING THIS?" Booker yelled still looking at the screen.
"What happend?" I asked him.
"This is the tenth time I beat Booker in a row" Nia replied.
"Chile- I've been letting her win," Booker said confidently.
"Mmmmhm" Nia and I said in sync.
"Alright guys, I'm going to go unpack," I said.
"Okay, see you in a little," Nia said.

Once I left the room, I could still hear Booker yelling in the room. I smiled to myself.

I started by taking out my blankets, so I could make my bed. And while I was making it, I started thinking about how funny it was to see Booker frustrated, but also cute. And I just couldn't help but notice that he was looking kind of fine today. Wait- I know I did not just call Booker fine.
I mean I'm not gonna lie, he's not necessarily unattractive but I would never tell Nia that. And he's not even my type. I need somebody with swag. Someone who is nice to others and treats me right. I also want somebody that can make me laugh and match my energy. But, they are also different from me in a way or otherwise I would get bored.

Now that I'm starting to think and oh shoot- I think I have feelings for my bestie's brother.

     I mean I could never actually date him. I don't know how Nia would feel about it, and since I'm staying here for a while, I don't want to make it weird and awkward. So I'm just going to try to get over it.
