A/N:
Kristina's looks a lot like Rachel except she has blonde hair. She is also 5 years younger so she's the same age as Nick and Jason. (30 years old)
Flashback: Kristina's POV. A little over a year ago.

I had just gotten out of the shower when my phone went off, I had gotten a text from my sister Rachel asking if I could come over asap. I quickly called her and it went straight to voicemail. I quickly got dressed and got into my car rushing over to her house. I pulled into her driveway and when I got out of the car I could hear my sister yelling and from her words I could tell it was to her husband. I quickly ran inside and my sister and her husband, Eric, look over to me. "Kristina, what are you doing here?" Eric asked me. I motioned towards Rachel, "My sister called, said it was urgent. Is everything okay here?" Rachel scoffs, "It's far from okay. Our marriage is far from okay." Eric looks towards her with hurt in his eyes. I step forward and put a hand on her back, "Rach, it's all right. You guys are going through a rough patch. It's hard not to, with what happened to Eric." Rachel looks down to Eric's prosthetic leg, then back to me, "It was all my fault. If I was just paying attention, none of it-" I cut her off, "Rachel, that was not your fault." I look up to see Eric scoff. "It wasn't her fault." I say to Eric and his eyes soften. I knew deep down he knew it wasn't Rachel's fault, he was just upset about what happened to his leg, which I can understand. A tear rolls down Rachel's face, "I'm glad you're both here. I need to tell you something." She walks off into her and Eric's room and comes back out with luggage. "Rachel, why do you have those suitcases? We can talk about this." Eric says to her calmly, but she shakes her head, "I've asked to be relocated. I leave tonight." Eric stands up and yells, "Rachel, you can't!" She looks between Eric and I sadly, "You gave me no choice. I need my own space from you. I'm sorry you're stuck in the middle of this Kris." A few tears slip out, "Rach, you can call them. Tell them you don't want to go anymore." Rachel walks over to me and hugs me, "You know I can't Kris. I have to do this." She pulls away and I nod. She walks over to Eric and caresses his face, "We just need a little space Eric. It's what's best for the both of us. You and Kris can focus on Caelus, and I can get some space. Then we'll come together an be better than ever." A small smile appears on Eric's face and he hugs Rachel. Rachel grabs her bags, and then she's gone.

Kristina's POV

"Krissy? Krissy?" Eric says waving his hand in front of my face. When I look over to him he smiles, "You alright? You look a little pale." I nod and look out the door of the helicopter before looking back to Eric, "I'm just nervous. It's been a whole year since we've seen her." Eric reaches over and holds my hand without the others being able to see. "Are you nervous to see her, or to tell her about us?" He asks me barely over a whisper.

Flashback. 1 month before leaving.

Eric and Kristina had spent almost the last year working everyday on Caelus. Both saw it as a way to ignore the way they felt about Rachel leaving. Kristina was hurt that her sister left without telling her until it happened, but she also understood why she had to go. Eric on the other hand was pissed that Rachel had left, but he was also pissed at the way he treated her. Deep down Eric knew his marriage to Rachel was over. Eric and Kristina worked so many hours together trying to figure out the key to make Caelus to work. The longer it took the closer Kristina and Eric got.

One day Kristina and Eric were the last in the lab, after everyone had went home. Kristina slammed her hand on the desk in frustration, "This damn thing is never going to work. We're never going to find Saddam's chemical weapons with this piece of shit! Maybe we should just give up." Eric walked over to her and placed his hands on her shoulder and started to rub them, "Don't think like that. Think of it as us being one step closer to figuring this thing out." Kristina turns around and looks up to Eric, "You really think we're going to figure this out?" He smiles and nods, "I know we can, Krissy. With our brains put together, we could do anything." She smiles and blushes slightly. She turns back to her computer before he could see her blush. 'That's your sister's husband Kristina, snap out of it.' Kristina scolds herself. Both of them type away at their computers for a few hours and as they're about to call it a day. The large computer in front of the two beep, causing them both to quickly jump up. They both stare at the screen in shock before Eric looks to Kristina, "We did it! We actually did it!" Eric moves over to Kristina picking her up and spinning her around happily. The two laugh and cheer as Eric spins them around. Eric finally stops spinning and slowly lowers Kristina down before looking down to meet her eyes. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" Eric starts before Kristina cuts him off looking up into his eyes before softly saying, "No, it's okay." Their bodies were so close they could feel each other's heat radiating off each other's body. They both wanted this, they were just scared. Kristina's eyes went from looking into his, to looking at his lips, then back up to his eyes. Eric slowly raises his hand from Kristina's waist to cup her cheek. "Eric." Kristina breathes out. Eric breathes out, "Tell me to stop." Eric leans in and pulls Kristina close until their lips meet. It starts off slow, but intensifies as their needs for each other grows. They've been secretly craving each other for months, but neither of them would act on it because of Rachel, until now. 'Rachel' Kristina thought as she pulls away from Eric. "Krissy, is everything okay?" Eric asks trying to read her face. Kristina looked away from Eric, "I just made out with my sister's husband, and I enjoyed it, so no. It's not okay." Eric puts his hand under Kristina's chin, making her look up to him. He sighs, "Krissy, Rachel and I have been over for a long time now. It took me a while to see it, and to move on, but you allowed me to. When we go see Rachel after we turn in the work for Caelus, I'll tell her everything and that I want a divorce. I only want you Kristina, if you'll have me." Kristina steps away from him, "Eric, we can't. I'm sorry." Kristina quickly grabs her purse and leaves Eric alone in the lab.

Kristina's POV

"Yes, I am. Eric she's going to kill us." I said softly and Eric squeezed my hand before letting it go. "We're gonna be okay." Eric reassured me, "I'll tell her." I put my hand on his thigh before shaking my head, "I can tell her, It would be better if she heard it from me. It just has to be the right timing." He nods, and I look back out the door of the helicopter. Was Eric worth everything my sister would do when she finds out? Even though I haven't told him, I loved Eric. Hopefully my sister would understand, but then again how could she.
