Lupe's pov.
Oh no. What did I just do?
"Lupe?" Neymar asked again, this time more eager.
"Um. Yes."
I answered so quickly that I didn't think my answer through. I'm so stupid!
I covered my face with my hands to hide my embarrassment.
"Lupe. It's ok," He said, patting my back. "I like you too."
My hands went down and I looked at him without any embarrassment.
"What?" I asked as if I didn't hear.
"I like you," he repeated, "And you like me."
I looked down and smiled.
"Really?"
Neymar's cheeks went red as he smiled.
No words were able to come out of my mouth. My joy and excitement over powered every other function of my body. All I could do was smile.
Not long after, Rafaella returned with the food- it was surreal to believe that our true feelings were exposed.
We eat quickly and I joined Neymar on our way home, while Rafa went by herself.
"So- what is this?" I ask.
"What's what?"
"This-" I say, "us"
"I don't know yet-" he says, "we'll just have to see what goes down."
I smile at his response. I agree- we've probably had mixed feelings and it's impossible for us to come to a conclusion without thinking it through.
"Alright," I say.
I don't know what I was thinking. The kiss- was is a mistake? I've had feelings- mixed ones and I just don't know what to do.... I guess time will tell.
