A new start

Your parent's had just sent you off to live with your aunt and uncle. they said you where a embarrassment to them. So here you where getting suffocated in a hug by your aunt. "OH Y/N ITS BEEN SO LONG" your aunt almost yelled. "Yea I know now LET ME GO BEFORE I SUFFOCATE" you yell back. "Sorry" she said letting me go. "I'm just happy to see you." You to auntie". She lead you to a small house that consisted of your younger cousin and uncle. "COUSIN Y/N" your younger cousin yelled. "hi" you said tiredly. "Oh you must be tired from your trip your room is just down the hallway" your aunt said pointing "thanks" you say dragging your suitcase down the hall to your new room. It was a nice cozy room that you loved. you put the suitcase next to the bed took off your shoes and laid down without even changing you were exhausted. You drifted to sleep almost instantly your dreams were filled with yelling parents tears being shed and the burning hot sun as you walked to your new home.
You woke up to the sun shining right into your eyes from your window for a moment you panicked not knowing where you were and then your memories flooded in and you realised why you were here. You walked out of your room see ing your aunt cooking something in the kitchen. " oh y/n you're up earlier than I expected go change into some fresh clothes breakfast will be ready in a little bit." You nod going back into your room and changing into a fresh pair of clothes. After eating you decide you're gonna go out with your younger cousin to explore the town. he clung onto your hand skipping happily while pointing out important details at about the town. Your cousin suddenly turned his head and quick as a flash drags you all the way to a group of kids and an older girl that looks to be...singing. They were shouting something about what her powers were you thought they were just playing a pretend game until your cousin pulled enthusiastically on your arm and started making you run after them. " wait where are we going STOP". Your cousin was distracted listening to the girl sing she seemed to be trying to shake them off until they reached a colourful house that had many stories wait did roof just move by its self. An old lady asked what in the world Mirabel was doing she responded with they were asking about the family than a child very loudly says " Mirabel was gonna tell us about her awesome gift" A girl with her hair in a bun and a red skirt from behind the older lady said " oh Mirabel didn't get one hm" then walks off.

After that crazy ordeal you made friends with the girl named Mirabel. She explain to you how her family was magic and everybody got some sort of gift except for her. She says that her cousins ceremony is tonight and she can swing by to pick you. You happily agreed knowing that if you went by yourself you're probably get Lost.

Time skip because 🤪

You were now walking into the colourful house as it moved by its self greeting guests and playing with children. there was a boy that looked about your age he had a yellow ruana with a pattern of chameleons on it and curly hair. you didn't get to see him like this for very long as he transformed into different people greeting them in their own way. This was bizarre as it was like nothing you've ever seen before Mirabel noticed you were staring and said "oh that's Camilo he can shape shift into anybody" " I noticed" you said in a fake sarcastic voice making her giggle. Not noticing that he was now walking up to the both of you.  "Hey I've never seen you around before did  you just moved in?" he said casually. "Yea I'm y/n nice to meet you Camilo". You noticed the slightest of a pink tint on his cheeks as his name rolled off your tongue. "I'll see you around" you said happily and started walking into the house Mirabel behind you.
