You smile as a blur of yellow entered your early morning vision.
"Happy six months..." you replied sleepily, his soft lips pressing onto your forehead.
"A piping hot cup of coffee for you y/n"
You smiled and took a sip and looked up at him.
"You got another traveling job Armin?"
"Yes...but only after I set up the new shop." He smiles.
You leapt into his arms causing him to stumble a bit and hold you close.
"My love !! You did it !You're finally moving here.." You held him close.
"So when will I meet Your family friends?"
Armins lip twitched into a half smile
You bit your lip and looked away,
"Well you know my family... Lara and Willie ...they-"
You grab your bag and open it ,
"They want to meet you!" You say.
"I'd love that.."He takes a glance at the military stamped papers and refocuses his gaze to you.
Armin rubbed the back of his head, "of course I'd like that y/n" he gently strokes your cheek as you see a faint glimmer in his eyes.
"What's the matter?" You ask planting a gentle kiss on his lips.
He returns your gentle kiss pressing his sculpted body to yours.
You hear a slight crumple but ignore it melting into your lovers arms.
Armin pulls back,
"I'll be back in time for breakfast okay?"
"Promise ?"
"Pinky.." he hooks his pinky onto yours and grabbed his bag before heading out of the door.
Later that night laughter, music and smells of greasy food filled the cool evening air.
You looked around at the festivities and smiling faces and longed to be out with your love.
You saw your brother at the center of attention; as usual so you watched his speech.
You tune out of the beginning since he was reciting history then his voice became clearer.
"HELP ME PROTECT OUR WORLD'S FUTURE!," You felt as if your heart dropped into the pit of your stomach, "IF WE WORK TOGETHER, WE CAN OVERCOME ANY OBSTACLE! ANY THREAT"
A chill ran up your spine at Willys word,
"Move!" You started shoving the crowd to make your way closer to your brother.
"CONSIDER THIS... A DECLARATION OF WAR-"
"WILLIE!!" You shouted as a rumble came from beneath and before your eyes he was flung into the air and swallowed whole by the Attack titan.
Screams that flowed from the crowd were dampened by the stones that pressed the life out of them.
You trembled as you felt yourself being pulled in the opposite direction of all the chaos,
"Y/n Tybur! We must get you to safety!" The guards shouted.
You ran as fast as you could handle,
"LOOK OUT"
A loud boom overwhelmed your senses as you were pinned to the ground protectively.
Your world was dark and hot.
You pushed the guards body off of you and looked, your home was engulfed in flames.
The ringing in your ears was slowing and you winced as you felt the searing pain from a chunk of concrete crushing your leg.
You weakly attempted to removed the heavy slab,
"AGH FUCK!" You scream. You tried again once more splitting your nails and scraping your palms. You shouted again in frustration as all your efforts amounts to split nails and bloody hands.
Hot tears stinging the fresh cuts on your face. You lean back seeing the sky cloud up with smoke and the vibrations rattling your bones, The colossal titan lumber forward seeing up at it looking from side to side.
You saw a familiar sadness that dwelled within its eyes.
"Dammit!"
You cried out,
"I just want to see the stars..." your voice cracked at the realization you would die here. You wanted to die in your home but not like this...never like this.
You felt cold even as the flames consume the world around you.
"Ar-min...I hope you're safe..." you start to whisper to yourself as your hand clutches the locket, "I'll see you in the morning...Goodnight."
